Personally the ix's and older evos look like grocery getters to me. The x is way to expensive so I bought a gts. If you want a fun car for much cheaper I recommend a vw buggie with suburu ej25 engine swap. 200 hp in a car thats less than a thousand pounds is FUN. My gts is a great daily driver btw.

@HardiHawleriKURD Errrrrr one problem there sir, these Evos have had their front diffs taken out, gearboxes changed and centre diff out so they are now RWD cars. And as for the diff setting, they're running 2 way LSD's (limited slip differential) so the setting could be anywhere from 1%-100% accel and decel. Most likely it's around 70% accel and 30-50% decel.

drifting was created from AWD rallying, just hard to do on tarmac, not to mention wear/strain on parts. RWD is the best/easiest way to drift on tarmac. fwd dont drift they ass drag.

RWD = Rear Wheel Drive

AWD = All Wheel Drive

FWD= Power goes ONLY to the front wheels

RWD= Power goed ONLY to the back wheel

Some cars, like the subaru impreza or mitsubishi evo have a 'center differential setting'(look it up) where you can adjust where the power of the engine will be focused(power to wheels). So, in this case, drifting..you can have most of the power to the rear and very little to the front giving the driver the advantage to accelerate faster than the typical RWD cars and slide their tail just a bit less for better control.
