I mean like some guys told me at least 0.30g others 0.25. I want a decent accuracy (to be able to hit a human sized target from about 200 feet), and of course a good range like 200+ feet.

This is a great gun and is extremely accurate, but i have learned if you keep the bolt back for longer than like half a second it makes the BB curve (with 0.30 gram BBs) but if you pull it back and just let it slide back into place on its own it makes the shots much more accurate.

i got this gun its good but when i shot it out of the box i wos like wtf? the hop-up wos so sh*t i thaght i just threw away £130 but it wos just out of the box so i put a new one in it and upgraded the spring its much better now :] and i wos gonna put a air-break in it but the piston head is one pice not like a l96 so you wold have only one chance at it and i dont wont to risk it O_O is ther any one who has done that??? if you have tell me!

OMG....what the hell is that horrible thing on the side........please ppl, use only POPS/PSO-1 telescopic sights in SVDs, cuz they are the only ones compatible with the SVD ( and with "compatible" I mean that you hit what you're actually aiming) because The PSO-1 was specifically designed for the Dragunov. @SVDassassin No you're wrong, cause if u use your $20 mount on a dragunov you'll not even hit the target. Telling you, the POSP is specifically designed for the SVD. I understand that for airsoft even a cheap and non-svd mount is still usable. And for your information its very easy to find original russian POSP/PSO-1 even for 65-70 USD. See Ya

free advise, next time try to breath the other way around, put all the air out when preparing to shoot, it has the chance to improve your accuracy.

2 deep breaths in

on the 3rd breath breathe in 1/2 a breath and pull the trigger as you are breathing out.

Best way is learn to breathe normaly while shooting, as I said, when you stop breathing you will hear your heart beats that will make you nervous. Do as you want, I am old school. Now even in army they use to hold breath before shooting. Best method is as I said, learn to breathe normaly while shooting.

@hdfailure actually i don't suffer nothing. Try to hold breath for more then 10-15 seconds and you will see that it will be harder to shoot. Your hands will start shaking because your heart doesn't have enough oxygen. Belive me I know what I'm talking about. :-) Holding breath is good only when shooting on competitions (you gain speed but lose accuracy..that's reality) in real world when you have to choose if kill someone you can't stop breathing (you lose accuracy). Google it.

For some reason I have alot of trouble pulling back the spring on this gun. What should I do?

@TheAirsoftking0 It is heavy due to the very strong spring. I recommend a technique on how you load. My technique is pulling forward from the handle and pulling back from the bolt meanwhile and keeping it stabile by keeping the stock on my lap or knee.

Hey Nate, I have a question. When I got my SVD Dragunov, it was the new version with the M150 spring in it. My question is if i want to downgrade to a M120 or an M115 spring, do i have to change the piston and sears as well?

@promotecheese2010 The only thing you might have to worry about is the block that holds the spring when you pull the handle back (forgot the name). it will eventually wear down and need to be replaced. As long as the insides are well greased its gonna last awhile.

@promotecheese2010 It hasn't broken yet. I bought mine about 5 months ago and its still working fine. Its only got minimal wear. It mainly depends on what spring you install in the gun. Harder the spring shorter the sear's life.
