William wants walters portal jumper and makes a deal...he will help walter get his son back for the device. They jump, get peter and william uses the device to become rich and wealthy...

Walter, not being able to live with his past, decides to whipe his memory of his evil deeds, thus resulting in becoming...well the absent minded walter we love and know.

Just my 2 cents....

Walter and william were a crazy team...duh...

Walter and william were doing tests on kids...trying to make the perfect weapon or a team of perfect weapons...whether for evil or to protect us from impending doom like our other realm/dimension.

walter decided to test the final product on his son peter when walters wife-nina-tried to intervine thus resulting in peter dying and her losing her arm.

Ok, a few theories.

1.)Peter obviously died in some "accident" that Walter caused, probably the reason he was put in the psych ward to begin with. In the alternate reality, given that someone would have to die before entering, Walter ended up killing himself in this same accident.

2.)The Blue Light represents a glimpse into another dimension, kind of like the whispering sound symbolizing a flashback in Lost. I don't have much proof to back up this theory but I'm sure the lights aren't just

3.)I think it's more than just coincidence that the new Star Trek came out, that guy from the last episode said he was Spock, and Leonard Nimoy is playing William Bell. Probably nothing important, just pointing it out.

it wouldn't fit the time line. the new peter would have no recollection of his father going into the ward since he would have come into this one after.

the new peter remembers that his father wasn't around much for his childhood, but he was there sometimes. meaning he was just working a lot, not in the ward.

I don't really think Olivia died in "our" reality, simply because she clearly remains in this reality until she's in the elevator after waiting for Nina to show up at the restaurant. It is confusing though, because it has to be significant in some way

That story can not be true, unless Peter dies without procreating in all of the universes. It is impossible that the same humans get to born from the same human in different realities, unless... he found the reality that is exactly like this until the point he stole peter... hmmm got me thinking.

Yes, Walter would have to be dead in the Alter-verse for that theory to work. Since we have not yet seen any two people together (like Olivia 1 and Olivia 2), we don't know either way.

the reason jones was like that is because the teleporter thingy he used to get from prison is killing him walter explained it and i think that someone i cant remember who mentioned it in this episode right before he dies (jones)

I don't know if this has happened with anyone else, but I just watched what I thought was episode 19 on Fox online. It wasn't until I saw Josh's 19 secrets and recaps that I realized somehow I was watching 20 though the label for the episode was 19... At first I thought it was some joke from Fox about the last episode being called "There's more than one of everything." Luckily the link seems to be back to normal now. Intended glitch? Anyone else have this issue?

1- Our Walter 2- Walter we've not seen. I didn't say there was an evil Walter. Just angry that his(2) son would've been taken(in the other reality). He(2) haunted himself(1) in the asylum in episode 8. It makes sense b/c he(1) was scared of himself (2,the him in the other reality). the him(2) that would come to take his(1) son back after he(1) stole him(peter) from him(2). :-)

the sense they were trying to get at on why the bullets went through Jones was that just as the particles of his body were able to go through solid objects (from his teleportation), then so can bullets, perhaps he's not completely stable yet
