Mirror: the light beam is highly positive energy, not light waves. and even then she gave it back to the Luminoth and would more likely use power, wave, plasma, wave, or ALL of them combined on him
3: While Samus's armor can be damaged by fire it isn't as combustible as you portray it so it would be a relatively useless method because she could easily fire at master chief from a long distance to avoid it.
2: It's not literally light, but light energy. It could possibly melt the mirror, and if not then she could just switch to dark beam or annihilator beam
