Sooooo adorable :) How come he's not yelling at you and scolding you for being close to him when he eats? Don't all degus? I can literally not give my degu ANYTHING to eat without running away afterwards so he doesn't start giving me attitude...

@MariaBohm He's actually pretty tame and is only really protective of food if he's in his cage eating. But if I try take it away from him, lol, he'll hold on for dear life.

lol great i have 3 degus (brothers and they dont like carrots they eat only a degu food such as vegetable pellets chrisps with non sugar and more ...im trying to get them to eat carrots but they only take carrots and throw them out of the cage (yeaa wery smart) they are my litle devils!!!
