To hell with the blue dogs and the republicans. We need a constitutional convention to get something done. Ask your state legislators to appy to congress to start one, it's the only way we're going to keep the insurance industry's money out of this. They can afford to buy off 485 people, but can they afford to buy 35 states legislatures who actually have to live among the citizens of their states and aren't subject to gerrymandering that makes them impervious to removal?
Bring the bill to the floor with the public option, let the blue dogs vote against it there, call there bluff
Force their hand. If they did they would go down as the "democrats" who voted against universal healthcare, one of the major platforms of the democratic party. They would not be re-electable after that
They would cave and cave badly
And we would get the public option
This thing can happen Obama just has to start fighting and stop throwing jabs
Obama doesn't want to. I knew back in 2007 that the son of a bitch was too conservative for me, I just didn't know how much until now, with him honoring Ronald Reagan and staying mute and ineffectual on the most important change to US law in 80 years.
Disagree this is the smae man who supported single payer He isnt conservative he wants this, otherwise why would he waste everyones time
He is just caving to political pressure from the insurance companies. we are talking about a billion dollar industry, and they are flexing their muscles to kill this bill.
The biggest problem hes facing is corruption within his own party
Thats why he should send the bill with public option, because it will show up the corrupt ones s and we can vote them out
No, he's going to cave, and we're likely going to get a bill that forces people to have insurance and leave it at that, and the entire country will be more screwed than it is now.
The trigger has been pulled its been pulled for the last 10 years. The recoil from the gun has caused it to bump fire and it has emptied the mag. The time is NOW, for a public option. I will NOT let the looney right fuck this up for everyone.
They said a black man could never be president yet we have one in the white house, so u cannot tell me that we cant get the public option passed. we can. Heres what needs to be done. Obama needs to rally behind the progressives, and alienate the bluedogs
If you force insurance companies to not drop people and force them to accept more people regardless of pre condition will lead to SIGNIFICANTLY higher costs because your forcing them to accept more risks.
A co-op will NOT work, the public option is absolutely necessary to control costs.
They are fucking this thing up if they dont include the public option and we cannot let this thing just go gently, we have to rise up and oppose this.
What's worse is that the bill actually PUNISHES certain folks who don't buy health insurance! Punishes! What kind of statist lunatics punish people for not buying a particular service for themselves? "If you don't buy insurance, we'll raise your taxes." We're taxed enough in this country! You idiots are spending way too much! How's about cutting spending for once instead of raising taxes? The solution to big spending is not always more taxes, u know.
The bill without public option is a lot of mess and nothing of any real substance. It would just spend more, create MORE healthcare bureaucracy, and put more strain on the healthcare market. It would hardly introduce healthy competition and choice. We CAN reintroduce healthy competition into the healthcare market, but it's by putting consumers first, not government bureaucracies, spending, or letting insurance have more power. The gov't has distorted the notion of a healthcare free-market.
Kathleen Sebelius is a joke. She has no real healthcare experience except for some major bills and proposals as governor of Kansas. Come on! Any idiot can do that, but it doesn't make them all qualified to be in the Cabinet. Obama obviously appointed her, like much of his appointees, for his stupid-ass agenda. Not to represent all of America or carry out the law.
The bill is completely useless without a public option. Good riddance. If that's "reform", let it fail. 1,000 pages of BS
Not that I was ever a fan of the public option. Obviously the bureaucrats, Obama and Congressional Dems would continue to pressure the public option bureaucracy, over the years, to become more and more of a monopoly and drive private insurance out of business. Guys like Kucinich, who are for single-payer, wouldn't just let it compete. Please! You think they would? You're dreaming. The public option would only reimburse practitioners and hospitals 10% more than cheap-ass Medicare.
How naive. What cracks me up is that people who actually think communism will work, are those who've never experienced it. Ask any immigrant who has fled communism to come to this country if communism is a viable philosophy... please do. I come from a family that has, they're in a much better position to speak than a privileged douche like you who has no grasp of the realities you live in, let alone societal realities. You're just a naive trendoid. No more, no less.
I said IF, but what else would you expect but straw man from the guy who thinks Obama is a communist, you still can't argue with the fact that pretty much all the top health care systems of the world are either 100% governmental or there is a public option.
a high price? I don't think so, since there are still people who support Bush, most Americans deserve to get so much more crap than what they are already getting.
And the former is billions of dollars in debt and has shitty service, while the other is booming and has to work within a loophole in the law which does not allow mail delivered by private company.
Tax payers pay to keep USPS alive while they gain from the service of a private company. USPS is an failed monopoly that is not allowed to fail.
That is not an apt comparison. In fact, if the public option works like USPS, the taxpayers are royally fucked due to the already inflated health care prices
The employees of USPS get good salary, whereas a UPS employees get shitty wages. $7- $9
Airport screening security - It was private till 2001. Employees used to get minimum waged salaries under private companies. Since TSA took over the security of airports, security screeners get decent livable salaries.
Same service, same people but New and humane practices/ policies.
they used to -- now there are lots of people that work for usps that are on contract - the call them "casuals" or something like that and get no benefits and a fraction of the pay. its not easy landing a union job with usps job with benefits anymore.
a friend of mine is a post master -- i know what i am talking about.
You cant depend on private companies to be truthful and honest. The only objective of private companies is to increase Profits, regardless of their inhumane policies.
Humane practices are an exception not a norm with private companies.
Humane policies is forcing people to pay for the salaries of those who are clearly not doing their job? Not the mail carriers, but the higher ups. So what? If a private company were in the hole $10 billion, should they raise the salaries of workers and then force customers to pay for that while not performing the services paid for AND enforcing a monopoly. Your ethics are not sound, nor is your logic. You're basically saying government monopoly = good - Citizen own and run enterprise = bad
Secondly, it's good that the employees aren't paid $20 an hour to do an entry level job. It makes it CHEAP for the CONSUMER. That is the opposite of what USPS does. It forces an expense upon the consumer for poor service and high costs to uphold the inflated salaries and bonuses for workers. It's unethical and it's the same as what illegal gangs do.
Speaking of "inflated salaries and bonuses for workers", you are conveniently ignoring the bonuses of bankrupt financial insurance company executives of AIG, Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs etc.
All gone bankrupt.....all billionaire company execs need tax payer funded bailouts to keep and fly in their private jets.
"Poor", "unethical" and "illegal" service, but high salaries, anyone!
Stinking politicis as usual. Nothing gets done in this two party system with all of this "I'll make you happy, you make me happy" routine. Someone has to pay and something has to change. For a President who ran on a platform for change and hope-taking us to the candy store and back; we ended up with lickerish and stained teeth. know one is smiling now because of it.
Those democrats take big money from insurance companies and act as spokespeople for insurance companies. But they pretend to work for American people.
There are not enough votes in US Senate for public insurance option because private insurance company bitch democrats like Baucus and Con-rad are in the senate
It's all over, there isn't gonna be a public option. What a bunch of fucking sellouts! I don't even live in the US and yet I am so pissed off seing how Americans are getting screwed from all sides.
so appart from the right wing, the repblicans and the insurance companies who is benefiting from no public option?
face the facts man Democrats are spineless, the bluedogs are closet republicans who wear the democrat "brand name" just to get votes but dont believe in the policies.
And Obama is WRONG to back down.
If he stands up for the right thing the american people will back him. no one likes a quiter or a sell out
I am a huge obama supporter but latley he has been pissing me off. Obama needs to stop bendin over for the republicunts and the blue fags and start puttin his foot down. Its just sicking how money talks in washington. I guess its up to the american people to put the pressure on the congress or nothing will ever get done!!
... Wtf. Thanks, everyone who voted Republican. If I get sick and die, now it's on your heads.
2000 people die on 9/11 and they're ready to throw out the constitution and spend trillions. They are ready to murder doctors to save unborn "lives". But when it comes to health care? They are happy to sacrifice tens of thousands every year on the alter of Adam Smith.
The already existing health insurance companies or agents bound to them will be spinning off false front insurance companies and co-ops to placate the public and give the appearance of there actually being real competition when, in fact, it is the same old characters racking in our dollars to add to their already overstuffed pockets and offshore bank accounts.
WE NEED A PUBLIC, NOT-FOR-PROFIT OPTION-- Preferably single payer-- or there is no real reform.
Damn the day when Obama searched for bipartisan support. He is not getting ANY support from the Republicans, then the question jumps to the forefront....Why accommodate politicians that will vote against this bill, anyhow?
Democrats are pussies and if this was the Republicans, a steam roller would have overrun the Democratic Party.
Might as well pass no reform then just kill the bill and stop wasting time.
Obama dinnt builly the blue dogs enough. He should have flat out told them. If you run against this ill we will get progressive candidates to run against you.
And he should have allowed te progressives to run attack dds against the blue dogs.
Instead he stood up against the progressives and basically allowed the blue dogs to do what ever they wanted. This is unacceptable.
Listen up, assholes: EVERYONE thought there was something wrong with the US healthcare system during the 2008 presidential campaign. Do you remember the god damned down hall debates between Obama and McCain on HEALTHCARE? You do? Then what the fuck?
The insurance companies have price-fixed your care; providers that follow the monopoly of the cartel(s) are "in-network;" those who don't... well, you know.
America was never GREAT... we're a work in progress.
Its a stupid bill minus the public option and it will cause insurance companies to send costs up again. They will do it because are being forced to accept more risks. They arent going to sacrifiece there profits to keep costs low. it is very naive to even think that this bill minus the public option will do anything but send up costs
The fact of the matter is there are not the votes in the Senate for the public option there never have been -- Sen. Kent Conrad (D-ND)
There are enough politically savvy people in the Senate and the White House for me to believe that, at some point in the not too distant past, this was an untruth.
Does anyone know if the federal employees insurance program covers spine transplants?
Demint was right this will be his waterloo if he doesnt do the right thing.
Its better he support the bill with a strong public option let it go to the senate and get killed there, so we the voters know who voted against it so we can replace them, rather than cave and give us a POS which will nd in higher costs.
government is control, so now some what the controlers to be in direct competition with the private sector. It's like haveing the referee be an assigned player of one team against the other. The ref (FED) would say that his team gets the ball, runs the field unopposed, and gets the goal by not allowing the private sector on to the field. It's a stacked deck card game that is nothing less then Federalization of Health Care, as was GM, as was Banking, as was national taxation of wages. Dopes. tj
Innize: but a signature seems so much more personal and i like to see how close i can come to 500 strokes and still have 2 left over to sign out. It's a touch of decorum in an ever increasingly hostile communication world. So please accept my invitation to join in on the challange to add some pleasant flavor to the on going debates of the day. tj
We had "adults" for long time to lead the country. The problem with "adult" sized ideas is that those ideas are good only for the wealthy few and well connected; like insurance companies and their cronies in the capitol hill . It is time for new and fresh-blooded ideas to thrive in this country. It is time for the youth to take back the country.
You are right after a fashion , I am 51 and we let this train wreck happen . We have had our day in the sun and I am focused like a laser on my 12 yr. old daughters future , Check out Adam Kokesh, he is 28 I believe and running for the senate in N.M. he is the head of Iraqi veterans against the war and has a very simple yet powerful message . peace
Have you heard the phrase that " old men fight but young men die"? If so please consider that it is better that all young & old avoid any ideas that are fresh-blooded that result in spilled-blooded events. Besides the so called "adults" that you seem to blame for our current socio-economic problems, were not really adults. They were actually selfish & self interested children in grown up positions. Responsible adults & responsible youth, men & women need to work together to solve the issues. tj
my point exactly. i have seen it from both sides now and each time meet the challenge with correct responsibility. We can only hope that this latest generation will be less selfish and do better. Before you point too harshly at the old guys ask yourself , who in this generation is a "Statesman" doing what is right at a cost to himself for the good of others? No man should send any man to do that which he is not willing to do, or has not done in the past. Young & old must be responsible. tj
If you want me to be "Statesman-like", where folks are swinging their guns at every nook and cranny; then I have to confess that I am not brave enough to put my life in peril, for the sake of winning an argument with a insane person.
i'll try again because it looks like my answer was lost to the net. Anyway, you're honest to answer that you are not that statesman if it requires gun play just to have a conversation. No one should have to be threatened with bodily harm just to talk. ie "freedom of speech". As for the word peril, it is intended to relate to the true statesman or patriot that accepts the risk of personal loss or expense in order to do the right thing for the greater good of his fellow countrymen. your friend, tj
I don't mind paying extra on my taxes to provide Universal coverage to all Americans. I am already paying more in medical bills right now, to cover uninsured Americans health care bill. It is hidden in my medical bill, which insurance companies' cleverly adds it on to consumers.
If my tax dollars helps to do the right thing for greater good, I am all for it.
My health care coverage is often denied due to pre-existing conditions or some other clever insurance ploys.
Have you added up how much you're taxed over the course of a year? I don't think you have... cause if you did, you *WOULD* have a problem paying extra taxes. Come back and let me know how much you're taxed, I'll wait.
i stopped counting about my tax payer dollars being wasted since the Iraq war began.
The current system is not working . Corporate Welfare and tax breaks for the wealthy few under the mask of "Capitalism" ain't working.
Tax breaks for Insurance and Pharmaceutical companies did not give me better insurance coverage or lower premiums. Nothing but denied claims from insurance companies.
Insurance companies ate my hard earned money for far too long, now let the insurance companies eat the LAW!
yeah -- i am pretty tired of paying into social programs for oldsters that aren't going to be there for me when i get there. and they are yelling and screaming and throwing teabags when it comes to any rights for me. the united states raised a generation of selfish greedy whiney babies and they are aged 65 plus. i guess they are proof social programs don't work well -- they create monsters.
With that kind of myopic mindset, all social safety nets such as medicare, medicaid and veterans benefits should therefore be dismantled and the ills of society will therefore solved.
3star2nr: you're absolutely right. He should start using the same tactics the neo-cons have been using to sneak their profits before we the people agenda through Congress.
Health care reform will not happen we care to much about racists and kooks.
Voter apathy will claim a lot dem's seats. And it be described as our entire country turning to the republicans for leadership. And the racism against a black guy for president will ratchet up a notch. We will go back to being the ass of the world.
Obama is no clinton. Bill very cunningly let hillary led the charge on health care, so when it did fail it only affected her.. Obama was the front man on this so now if it fails hes going to get burned
He is failing on alot of the big issues.
i.e. NOT prosecuting the bush admin
NOT repealing DADT
now NOT passing a healthcare bill with a robust public option.
If he continues on this path, he will have no base left. we will see a resurgence of the GOP in 2010.
consider Ron Paul, he points out ,,and has called for a complete pullout of all our overseas military bases. Then and only then can we afford to take care of our people at home, Peace
Yeha RIGHT. Did you even look into what are his views on health care?
Ron paul's solution is the reagan solutioon give your ass a pair of bootstraps and thats it.
I agree with ron paul on many of his other policies, but on health care I flat out disagree with him. Under his plan nothing would change, except hed fully deregulate them, and allow them to charge what ever they feel like
3star2nr: Like you, I agreed with some of Ron Paul's ideas; but I lost all respect for him when I discovered he hangs out with creationist & has publicly encouraged their stupidity.
3 star- Somewhere in the U.S. their is the Dr. who graduated first in his class from the most prestigious med. school, there is also the one who graduated last at the least prestigious. I think this is just the way the world is!, there is no free lunch, Our health care system is already 95% gov. health care, lets get the gov. out of our lives, It is worth a try. Stopping this military madness would sure bring me and my family some peace ,and I am sure we would be "healthier for it"
I was including medicaire and medicaid workmans comp, and gov. regulated hmo"s etc . the system is bankrupt, moraly and financially . I agree something needs to be done . We are broke as a nation, we have sold out our childrens future through this crazy bankster bailouts , bloated gov . The rich have all the chips and are walking away from the poker table , we have to stop these war pigs , dems, repubs , 2 wings of the same vulture, your concern is valid , I explain this mess through GREED.peace
You do realize that medicaire is broke don:t you, as well as social security, that is why they are called UNFUNDED MANDATES, How can we have this debate if we do not acknowledge these facts, We are out of $ as a nation , WE HAVE NO MONEY, sorry for all the caps lol
If John McCain had won the election, and the Republicans wanted to start another war, the country would have money -- AND NOBODY WOULD EVER TALK ABOUT THE DEFICIT.
I am confused , are you talking about Barack Mcain or John Obama, I guess Gates isnt stil sec. of war er I mean offense , er I mean defense . I guess Kissinger and Brezinski are the change we asked for?
I work in a hospital and see firsthand the gauging that the insurance companies impose on hospitals and patients. Medicare and medicaid is always a much simpler system to deal with. I know the crazies see this as "government takeover," but that is paranoid nonsense promulgated by lackeys of the billion dollar corporations that are frightened of losing their disgusting revenue. Yachts and islands are expensive you know!
The Libertarian heart apparently does not include health care. Ron Paul's own campaign manager died of pneumonia because he lacked health coverage. He left his family with $400,000 in medical bills. Under a single payer health system, he might have gotten care that would have kept him in better health, or at least treatment that would have prevented him from dying of pneumonia and bankrupting his family.
I don't know a lot about this bill, but if it helps us with getting having healthcare more accessible and affordable, could we just have a few compromises so that we can finally get this stupid thing through already?!
Tpmtv is a crack up, It is like a family in denial about the reality of the family budget discusing where to go for vacation. Oh honey , lets buy a new prius and go to yosemite, uh ,sure sweetheart. Then junior pipes in , but Dad all our credit cards are maxed out ,the house is on the brink of forclosure , sis and I are already on the hook for more $ than we will probably make in our lifetime! How can you even consider these trysts. Papa looks flummoxed, Mom goes and makes a gin and tonic
Actually, getplaning, I think Corporate America has been renting to own the US government for some time, now. This may be the year we find out they finally got the deed; and 300,000,000 work slaves to boot.
Obama's "Ruthless Pragmatism" sucks. POTUS just got rolled by Republicans, b/c he thought he could be "nice" to them. Big Mistake. They are parasites, and must be ignored at all costs.
Let's see, repubs make the money & are forced to give it to lazy dems,(not all dems)then lazy dems call productive repubs ugly names(racist, bigot, etc), but somehow, in your twisted fucking mind you think the producers, that are the most charitable, are blood suckers. You're fucking hopeless. You'll never have anything, especially freedom.
And Fuck Dick Armey. He's a pussy. You dumbass, you oughtta thank the bastard. He helped your side get in office, but you're too fuckin stupid to see that.
Americans are the fattest most unhealthy pigs on the planet. Rednecks are the fattest most unhealthy pigs in America. Rednecks are not necessarily rich and in time won't be able to afford health care. lol who really needs health care reform the most? Not me. I am healthy and run 3-4 times a week, walk 2-3 times a week, lift weights 3-4 times a week, and eat healthy. So I say go ahead and kill it you stupid rednecks. Go figure
If you want the truth regarding health care reform minus all the BS visit the comment section of my profile. You will find a wide range of resources including: A video that will tell you which Dems and Repubs are in the pockets of big pharma, Phone #'s of your representatives, The easy to read version of the bill sent out by congress as well as the long version, Answers to the most commonly asked questions, Myths DEBUNKED and so much more. Do not fall for all the lies and scare tactics.
actually... i think the dems know that the word "public option" is a killer word... that is why they saying stuff like: we want more competition.... that sounds less Communistic for the red necks but that can still mean a gov option for everyone
This process of health care reform is slowly but surely turning out to be an epic betrayal of the American people. I'm not sure neither Obama nor congress can spin their way out of this one.
You know the Democrats are a bunch of spineless pussies when they can't get shit done even though they control the House, the Senate and the White House.
If the dems can't do healthcare reform, fuck it, let's just go with another fundamentalist idiot who thinks the world is 6,000 years old and Africa is a country.
Let's just invade Iran & Pakistan & N. Korea, I'll pay for their roads & buildings to be rebuilt after we bomb the shit out of them, but I will NOT pay for YOUR healthcare asshole! I work! Get a job!
We must have a single payer health care system only. We can't afford anything else. The Republicans and or O'bama plan, is just more of the same. Plenty of profit for the greedy pharmaceuticals and the health care companies. We should emulate the Veterans Administration. Our own national, 1 payer system, which mostly works.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
This issue is DEAD! The American Communists movement lost & freedom is still ringing true. God Bless America! You anarchists might as well move on to the next evil scheem to destroy America. You got your asses spanked on this one.
I want my freedom & am willing to pay the ultimate price for it. Are you willing to pay the ultimate price for what you believe in? If not, get back in the closet.
Umm it's not a choice because we'll have to fund it regardless of whether we take the public option ourselves. Don't believe for a second they'll be able to keep it from going in the red because they have never been successful. It's just another cost to the American tax payer, or even everyone who uses dollars since they'll probably inflate to pay for it.
I know Rahm hates Howard Dean, but Dean does so much better at explaining all this than Sebelius or anyone else up there does that it's pitiful.

Choice and Competition does work
Public option does work
USPS vs UPS
Incremental "change" = NO change at all!
iknewitalready 2 years ago
And the former is billions of dollars in debt and has shitty service, while the other is booming and has to work within a loophole in the law which does not allow mail delivered by private company.
Tax payers pay to keep USPS alive while they gain from the service of a private company. USPS is an failed monopoly that is not allowed to fail.
That is not an apt comparison. In fact, if the public option works like USPS, the taxpayers are royally fucked due to the already inflated health care prices
AshillaBeige 2 years ago
The employees of USPS get good salary, whereas a UPS employees get shitty wages. $7- $9
Airport screening security - It was private till 2001. Employees used to get minimum waged salaries under private companies. Since TSA took over the security of airports, security screeners get decent livable salaries.
Same service, same people but New and humane practices/ policies.

USPS employees get good salary with the best benefits.

AshillaBeige 2 years ago
they used to -- now there are lots of people that work for usps that are on contract - the call them "casuals" or something like that and get no benefits and a fraction of the pay. its not easy landing a union job with usps job with benefits anymore.
a friend of mine is a post master -- i know what i am talking about.
gisforgary 2 years ago
You cant depend on private companies to be truthful and honest. The only objective of private companies is to increase Profits, regardless of their inhumane policies.
Humane practices are an exception not a norm with private companies.
iknewitalready 2 years ago
Humane policies is forcing people to pay for the salaries of those who are clearly not doing their job? Not the mail carriers, but the higher ups. So what? If a private company were in the hole $10 billion, should they raise the salaries of workers and then force customers to pay for that while not performing the services paid for AND enforcing a monopoly. Your ethics are not sound, nor is your logic. You're basically saying government monopoly = good - Citizen own and run enterprise = bad
AshillaBeige 2 years ago
Secondly, it's good that the employees aren't paid $20 an hour to do an entry level job. It makes it CHEAP for the CONSUMER. That is the opposite of what USPS does. It forces an expense upon the consumer for poor service and high costs to uphold the inflated salaries and bonuses for workers. It's unethical and it's the same as what illegal gangs do.
AshillaBeige 2 years ago
Speaking of "inflated salaries and bonuses for workers", you are conveniently ignoring the bonuses of bankrupt financial insurance company executives of AIG, Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs etc.
All gone bankrupt.....all billionaire company execs need tax payer funded bailouts to keep and fly in their private jets.
"Poor", "unethical" and "illegal" service, but high salaries, anyone!

If so please consider that it is better that all young & old avoid any ideas that are fresh-blooded that result in spilled-blooded events. Besides the so called "adults" that you seem to blame for our current socio-economic problems, were not really adults. They were actually selfish & self interested children in grown up positions. Actually TJ, I have not heard that phrase before.

Its Immoral for Old adult Men to Send Young Americans to Fight and Die for a misguided war under false pretenses.
Responsible Old Adult Men behaving badly!
iknewitalready 2 years ago 2
my point exactly. i have seen it from both sides now and each time meet the challenge with correct responsibility. We can only hope that this latest generation will be less selfish and do better. Before you point too harshly at the old guys ask yourself , who in this generation is a "Statesman" doing what is right at a cost to himself for the good of others? No man should send any man to do that which he is not willing to do, or has not done in the past. Young & old must be responsible. tj

This country sucks. And not just our government either. The people in this country fuckin suck. Not all of them, but the majority it seems.
"We want change."
"Obama you should have fixed by the economy now."
"No healthcare reform! No change! You want to kill my grandmother!"
"The private sector is okay but government sucks!"
"I want to be a celebrity."
"Why should I have to pay for YOU?"
"It's mine, get your own asshole!"
"What time is Jon & Kate Plus 8 on?"
Fuck this....

This issue is DEAD! The American Communists movement lost & freedom is still ringing true. God Bless America! You anarchists might as well move on to the next evil scheem to destroy America. You got your asses spanked on this one.

First you call them Communists and then Anarchist? Do you know what either of those terms mean because they're not really interchangeable.

so you don't want cheaper healthcare....

I want my freedom & am willing to pay the ultimate price for it. Are you willing to pay the ultimate price for what you believe in? If not, get back in the closet.
MrHelldogger 2 years ago
what ultimate price? what are you talking about ? they want add and extra choice into heathcare... choice = freedom
now you don't have any choice
robinvan1983 2 years ago
Umm it's not a choice because we'll have to fund it regardless of whether we take the public option ourselves. Don't believe for a second they'll be able to keep it from going in the red because they have never been successful. It's just another cost to the American tax payer, or even everyone who uses dollars since they'll probably inflate to pay for it.
eurohim 2 years ago 2
it is a tax for people who make more than 250.000 dollars
robinvan1983 2 years ago 2
For now. Still that is wrong. I don't like to see any group of people be mistreated for the benefit of another.
eurohim 2 years ago
it isn't because everyone benefits it because the coverage is better and the prices are lower
