well im pretty sure that when playing blackjack, the other people must show their cards at the end of all bets, then the dealer shows his/her cards, thus revealing all cards, and thats when you really gotta keep all these numbers going quick in your head :P

and a tiny bit harder to make a dealer bust on stiff hands
Okay but what I don't understand is the true count thing, do you use that? If it's a six deck game can you really remember the count along with the number of decks already used?
Can you still have an advantage over the house if you don't keep track of the true count?
kinda like the "average" the count on a game of blackjack goes towards the "true count" and depnding on how many decks are being used, depends on how you devide the count into the true count :P

well u used to be able to go without one but u had to get this little ID card thing espetialy for going to canada but i heard that they recently changed the law and now u might have to get a passport like with the last few years.
ahhh well thats why, if you know the count is low, then you stop betting OR bet a very small amount or the miniumum bid. That way there will be a higher chance of you losing but also a better chance of the count going back up. I'm sorry woob91 i don't have a safer method. But this is a VERY solid method.
if there ARE more faces in the deck and you have a 12-17 you know to STAY and let your dealer in this case having the same situation 12-17 The dealer will most likely bust =]
because you don't want the 10-ace to come out of the deck or else you have a lesser chance at getting a blackjack, and that's why those cards are giving the value of (-1) and when you get the cards "23456" out of the deck that means that the deck is heavy, meaning it has more cards labled 10-ace depending on how high the count is. So if the count at the moment is +7 for example, that means there are 7 more cards labeled 10-ace, then there are 23456. hope i could help =]
because the higher the count, the more 10's jack's queen's king's or ace's there will be, so a better chance to multiply ur bet by 1.5 if u happen to get blackjack, also
there's a higher chance to bust the dealer on his/her stiff hands like a 16 she/he will most likely get a face card depending on how high the count is ^_^

hey im new to card counting 23456 means u add (+) 1 and 789 means its nuetral and 10 jack queen king ace means you (-) 1 right???
