the blackhawks may be young, but the wings have more experience since they get trained instead put out on the ice without a clue of what to do. that is what makes our team cool. even if you hear about all the stuff that goes on that is bad in detroit, we at least have team spirit. so in summary: wings rule, blackhawks drool
Chicago is such a cool city. When I went there for a school field trip from our suburb of Detroit, I realized how big and cool the city was. I just wish people would give the time of day to Detroit. Its a really nice city. When you hear about the crime and crap, thats in the neighborhoods of Detroit. Downtown is pretty fun but only when its a busy day(sports games and concerts) but when none of that is happening, its really boring.

The Red Wings r going 2 win simply because of their depth. when u have guys like Helm, Draper, Maltby, Samuelsson, Abdelkader, and Hudler as your 3rd and 4th line, they r just gonna wear Chicago out, Chicago looks tired in the 3rd period. Also, Kane wouldnt touch a fly, ive never seen him play the body, and all of this fancy crap hes trying 2 pull on Lidstrom, its not gonna work!
UM u want to talk Depth tell me why our Backup goalie got the win and our 3 and fourth lines are consistently scoring on osgood. Chicago has Depth im lookin for this series to be knotted up for Game 5

I mean, this was the first year since 02 that the Wings had a series end at home. We closed out everyone on the road last year.

Young studs = Young duds. Chicago's star players sucked yesterday(both w/ -3 +/-). As did most of the Blackhawks team. I don't know why everyone thinks the Red Wings are overrated. 3 consecutive trips to the Western conference finals, 4 Stanley cups in 11 years(2 of them back to back), and multiple people who have won trophies (such as Lidstrom, 6-time Norris trophy winner) plus a genius coach like Mike Babcock is not overrated. Detroit can own Chicago anywhere. The wings will win in 5 games.
Well, when you bring up "youth" as one of your arguments why your team should/could/will beat the Wings, it makes the connection that much easier. lol
From what I've seen so far, Chicago likes to play a very similar game to Detroit. The only thing is, Detroit is much better at it. Chicago can't sit back and let Detroit control the puck, and ulitmately the tempo of the game, if they want to have a shot in this series.
But in all seriousness, I'm glad Chicago is getting good again. Hated seeing them in the cellar every year. And this video is really good, for about just over a minute. Then I don't know...something just goes bad with it :P
Go WINGS! I'd like to see this series go 6 or 7 games. And I think the winner takes the Cup. Regardless of who wins the east.
