@Upsilonofficial Its easy... just buy the Broadcom BCM94321MC WiFi-N mini PCI-Express card on ebay.... its less than $20. Saves a pain in the ass and its recognized natively on OSX 10.6.3 and up.. Its Dual channel wireless-N. Doesn't crash, its fast and super reliable.... OSX recognizes it as "Airport Extreme". This card has 2 wire antenna plugs only. If your laptop has 3 then just connect the 'white & black' wires only, ignore the 'grey' wire.

There's a way better and powerful wifi card. The Atheros AR5008E-3NX with XSPAN 300M technology. Also native to OSX and has 3 wire antenna plugs, & on Windows 7 its automatically full speed at 300m download! Once problem though, it native to OSX but it seems that the drivers somehow can't handle it. Your comp. will sometimes just freeze, crash when turning on and off Airport. Sometimes it will just freeze all of a sudden. So I switched it back to the Broadcom card. may a donation 4 this tip?

I forgot, if you need the half size wifi pci-e card you should find one for the Broadcom version on ebay... good luck.

lol i just found out mac pros 2009 2.3 ghz can be upgraded to 12 core 3.3ghz etc etc . whats the point of my 930 i7 hack anymore .. its a total pain in the arse ??? who knows how the get a nvidia stock 8800 GTS 512 (G92) running on snow leopard correctly ?? the card works ok but user interface test in xbench scores 12 . should be 300+ ... its lagging on the gui etc any ideas ??

so with this kext thing i just download the desiered driver ( my wireless card driver) and just put it in the kext thing so it installs it and the i just add the details for the kext

Didn't really "explain" much. What kext do you install the PNPID to? When you add "026810EC" where is that coming from? I see the 0268 just thrown into the picture on the left. But how do you know where to look?

PNPID is Device + Vendor

You see dev_ and a few numbers

And ven_ and a few numers that together is PNPID
