My name is Robert James Patterson and I am a survivor of a 'Target Parent' attack launched by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services and the Superior Court System of Los Angeles County. We would absolutely LOVE to have you as a speaker at this event. Please contact me at your earliest convenience, my number is in your youtube inbox
I would love to be a foster parent. I have been wanting to for some time. I have a wonderful home and a huge yard and two extra rooms. I would like to give all my time to this child to give him/her the right care and love that they need.
I would need to leave my job to do this proper. I know they take care of food and cloths for the children. But how would I be able to pay for my bills then. :( It makes me sad. I have so much to give and teach
It seems that alot of the root of this problem is not the foster care system, not the foster parents, not the child, not necessarily the mother - where are the Fathers in this country? Abandoning their families? If there were fathers taking care of the family as God has intended - this world would be a different place.
When I become a foster parent, I will need the money. I kinda dislike people who take the money and do not use it on the foster kids, but on themselves and I do not know how to deal with that. However, I know what having a little bit more money and being able to provide nice things to foster care kids means. It means so much, at least it did to me. I want to provide for a life that is as nice and comfortable as possible.
You are welcome Mr. Bill. As a former foster parent association president I represented foster parents who are sweet and loving but found they hand more than they could handle. For example, is it a foster parent's fault because a teen robs a 7/11 who has been in more than 80 homes since birth? I do these blogs to put some reality in foster care. I dodge bullets by agency staff all the time. The public must hear the truth. Thanks to the internet the truth will be heard from all of us.
I agree.I have stayed up all night and missed work.
leave work early several times a week.Drove five hour to five hour back from a doctor visit . red as far as money goes.
IT is so often that people who say negative things about foster families being pd 325. a month to watch a child 24/7. the same people who would not spend one minute of their time comforting these children. Thanks you for standing up for the people who open their family and lives up to these children.
