  • Good luck! I'm hoping to get my car on the track next year.

  • I like the vid. Looked like it was pretty chilly there, how did the track and tires hold up? I'm building a SN95 SCCA Mustang. I'm going to run Hoosier as6's. Do you run in any particular class or on open track days?

  • @the3rdeye88 Tires held up fine. In my opinion it is a tough tire to beat. I have been open tracking, but that has been put on hold temporarily. Hopefully next year I can start venturing into time trials with NASA.

  • Try the Yokohama AD08's for your next set of tires. Have had a blast on mine in my STI.

  • A 1:43 is a very good time for a mustang, As far as the lines go turn 12 and 1 you need to be farther to the left. Turn 12 is a pretty scary corner but you can really slide the car through it right up to the exit on the grass. The exit speed of 10B is very important as you should be wide open after 10B all the way into turn 1 and trust me it's scary at first . Your losing a lot of exit speed on corners too.The 4 seconds are there. I'll be there march 11-13 running my own car, it's a Nasa event.

  • @TheTimeline221 Trust me I know I need to work on that. What you are seeing is me working on a straighter line from exit of 10b to entrance of 12. It is also my 3rd trip to that track (first event in that car as well). There is time left on the table, but I'm not so sure about your 4 seconds though. If there is... those American Iron race cars better watch out for this street car! :) My plans are to make the same event. Can I assume you car is #221? Send me a PM if you want to meet up.

  • Your lines need work, missing about 4 seconds a lap. It looked good otherwize though.

  • @TheTimeline221 In the video, every lap had traffic and only the first came closest to a clean lap (but I had to slow down coming down 12). While everyone can improve their lines, I am not sure where you are getting 4 seconds. Remember this is only an HPDE and it is not racing. I ultimately ran a 1:43.1 on a clear session later in the day. The best American Iron lap that day was a 1:38.7. Considering they have a power/weight of 9.5 vs me at 11.6 and they are 500lbs less, I think I'm doin ok. ;)

  • i love that track in forza....but id love to take my gt on a road course..mustang FTW....

  • Sweet video and nice driving. Wish I could take my cars to a track like this!

  • Hey that was my little miata being driven by a buddy that got passed at min 8:10. I had hoped to see more of it..

  • Trying to keep up, seems your taking it to these guys! Good driving.
