I read your reviews on your website of Mac Compatible web cams.
Have you tested the aGent V5 webcam from Liquid Digital ? (Google the name "aGent V5 webcam" and you'll find their stie) It has a styling that looks similar to the old Apple iSight cameras , but it is USB instead of firewire.
I just wanted to point out that video resolution has nothing to do megapixels. Megapixels only refer to still images, I could have 12 MP camera, but the video is only 640x480, and vice versa
If the Fire-I has any shortcomings, it's that it really hasn't been updated with, say a better lens, mic, or better sensor in the past few years. So while quite functional, it's hardly state-of-the-art.
The Fire-I definitely has two 6-pin FW 400 ports. But for about $12 they make stubby FW 400 to 800 adapter plugs to let you use FW 400 devices on the newest Macs.
Could you use this camera to stream with on ustream from a mac?

If it had auto focus it would maybe be the best webcam on the market?
