I got fifa 09 demo and to me personally i feel like fifa has step it up since 08. They capture the way actual players run for example c. ronaldo, and ronaldinho they physique and the way they move their body. But lag serious soccer gameplay compared to pes 09.
I just install this demo not much graphics difference but when u pick up that remote and start playing this pes the gameplay like pes 5. They do actual soccer plays so if ur like a pro with 1, 2 plays etc... this is the game.
Fifa's goal keepers are retarded, they never come out and grab the ball even if it's in the 6 m box. PES keepers just beats the shit out of the opponents, preventing one v one situations. When you do a long pass over the defender's heads in Fifa, the defender ALWAYS looks up and slows down, allowing a break away. In PES, the defenders sticks so close the the opponent, adding a sense of satisfaction when you do score.
