I'm personally pleased that Itv has now become inpersonal, Cos it was a load of shite, with shite presenters, amateiurish presentation and fuck all mention of Lincolnshire or North Norfolk, which Yorkshire TV was mention to covere. At least ATV had a continuity announcer.

ITV are soo Stupid today saying their profilts are down and they are going to have to cust costs, what ITV need to do is admit that their greed back in the early 00's when the set up ITV plc and gave it a corprate branding that they killed teh heart of ITV1 and no matter what trailer trash tv programm they get to pull in viewers the viwers who would of stuck with ITV go again as ITV1 means nothing to them any more, as they killed the regions from where we live

Now they are getting rid of the westcountry regional news program that covers cornwall and devon and merging with BRISTOL !!!- meaning no studios in devon or cornwall...its crazy , it just gets worse. It all went wrong in 1991.

I dont think ITV care what we think- its about money and profit at the end of the day . They do what they want .

They did know, and the corporate identity was part of their campaign to fight the Broadcasting Bill which proposed a loosening of controls, which ultimately led to what we have today.
