Oh come now. Suzanne Vega is not far enough removed to get booed off the stage. I once saw Donovan opening for Yes (or was that ELP?) and he was - tolerated at least. Still it's interesting that there would even be such as thing as prog Stand Up! (Or am I thinking of the Tull album of that name? It's all very confusing to me now . . .)
These days, or most, in the past 30 years you won't see the Tull playing many of the worlds amphitheaters, save for maybe the odd ancient one in Greece or someplace, and rare indeed would be a half filled arena. Although doubtless a signifigant part of the rock world still considers Tull a byword for unhip, the band at least still manages, in their 44th consecutive year, to sell out pretty nearly anywhere they play around this orb. Suzanne Vega? I imagine there are mutual fans. Not me.
