what are your material values. do you only use pure elastic material (E, nu and rho) or do you have other parameters also ? thx

contact is modelled using the penalty method and a master-slave implicit algorithm.
Check first if you are using the penalty method and if it doesn't converge, decrease the value of the penalty coefficient...

hello ,could u please explain to me your contact set up..i have design a model with similar condition as your model..i had problem when two bodies get contact,calculation doe not converged after that..might be you could give some hint for it.. tq
