  • I don't think you would have a manual control for ride height and it wouldn't be in the trunk, most likely you have a built in tire pump. There is probably a hose in a compartment or under the trunk floor... still pretty cool AND nice car! Thats the same L44 V6 that powers the Fiero.

  • Oh you are so lucky..

  • Oh man! I would do almost anything for that car!

I cannot find one of these things in good shape!

  • @clubcar98 you will find one, eventualy

  • @Tbolt1000TForLife I shall not rest until I do!

Although unless I get the car from elderly people, I dont think it will have all the records and that cool little kit in the trunk.

  • @clubcar98 good luck

  • nice car

  • @MasterSnowstorm thanks

  • I was just wondering if you could take out the chime and replace it with a buzzer from an old Chevy pickup truck and then do a video of this Pontiac with the Chevy truck buzzer?

  • @Jac2Mac like i said, it would sound better in my dad's 1999 GMC Suburban

  • WOAH!! that is an A W E S O M E car!! it is fully loaded!! I LOVE that car! I want it LOL!

  • Sweet! My dad owns a 1988 Pontiac 6000LE Safari station wagon. No rust on it either. He asked me if I wanted the car and I would love to have it lol. Maybe I'll post a vid of it sometime. Nice car again though!

  • the car raises the rear if theres added weight. automatically I think the button you were pressing is if you wanted to inflate a tire or something using parts from the kit.

  • @cedric333 yes, a very useful feature that I use often in my 86, although its in a bit rougher shape than this one

  • Damn dude, NICE score. 2.8HO? Not bad either, those were excellent engines.

As for the oil leak, it was very popular for the 2.8s and 3.1s to blow their oil pump seal, its a VERY cheap fix and maybe and hour or so of work depending on how thrifty you are.

  • Very nice car Andrew

  • wow, seriously this is an awesome car, especially the function monitor is really nice and very advance for that time. At $2200 is really worth it.

    5* + Favorite

  • yes it's a very nice car, i'm never going to get rid of it, i love it, but these cars can somtimes develep a massive oil leak, but that won't stop me from keeping it, i will just fix it when and if it happens

  • That oil leak is the ONLY reason I got rid of mine, I didn't want to deal with the repair cost!! Nice car, nice video - enjoy it!! AND KEEP IT!

  • @Tbolt1000TForLife Nice Car and way ahead of it's time. Very clean. I've got an 83 STE. Two other places to check for the oil leak is the distributor shaft o-ring and the valve cover gaskets. Dist shaft repair is less well known, but is a cheap and easy fix. Make sure you get the silicone rubber o-ring since original nitrile won't last. They are sold by Dorman- Help! brand usually red.

  • @Thedge10 thanks for the tip bro, you should make a video of your 83', thats very rare dude, please make a video of it, btw i have a few spots of rust starting to form so i will be doing body work sometime this summer

  • Could you kindly replace that chime with a scary buzzer from a Chevy Celebrity?

  • i think it would actually sound better in my dads 1999 GMC Suburban

  • I like driving the first-gen GM A-body cars. Your Pontiac is loaded to the max. My bros 87 Celebrity has none of those options at all, in fact its as base as can be, it just has A/C and an AM manual radio, lol. I think the Pontiacs were the fanciest out of all of the A-bodies.

The 2.8L gets great gas mileage, when I was driving it, I averaged about 18-20 around town.

  • yes, these are very nice cars, my 1st favorite is the 6000, my 2nd favorite is the Celebrity, and my 3rd favorite is the cutlass ciera, i say the STE is the best, but the Eurosport is nice too, both use the 2.8L Hi-Output V6 engine, and i get 20 MPG in town, i love this car

  • whatever floats your boat

  • lol, good luck getting it!!!

  • The Dashboard things were cool.. i have a 1990 GMC, and it has digital readout xD

but..i dont drive it xD I drive my Dad's 2003 Honda Pilot.

  • what model GMC?

  • Safari lol. it needs a new battery

  • Safari huh, thats the same as the Chevy Astro

  • yes

  • That sucker is CLEAN for something that old! Take care of it!!

  • i will, this bad boy is my pride and joy, im never going to get rid of this car, i love it, and the fact that it's mint sweetens the deal!!!

  • Might be due for a set of plugs, but other than that 5* vehicle for sure. VERY clean. thats a rare bird

  • Ive had oen of these, a car i actually enjoyed

  • Nice new car buddy!

  • Congratulations once again! I'm proud of you!

  • hell yeah andrew next video is the test drive video with me stormsos!! hey try picking me up around tommrow i wanna go for a drive

  • sorry josh, i'm going to peter's house tomorrow

  • that trip computer/diagnostic thing is cool

  • you bet

  • Quite luxurious for it's time, and maybe even now. Nice to see an old Pontiac that isn't a discusting rust bucket. and the V6 sweetens the deal!

  • hell yeah, i love this car, especially the all digital dash, steering wheel radio controls, driver information center, and the onboard inflator, and absolutly, the V6 for sure sweetens the deal, the car even has a 3 speed automatic, one of the best Engine-Transmisson setups out there
