Hello MilwaukeeSDman! My all time favourite loco is the EMD SD40-2. As far as I know the 'Rio' never had them. Might make a good project!?

you are right. like the SP, DRGW never had any SD40-2, but SP has had the SD40s, the SD40T-2s and the Rio Grande as well like I researched.

If I was pushed for my favourite in Rio colours I would say the EMD SD45 wins hands down!
