  • my right ear loves this

  • I believe aliens created us and there are immortals however we are not, but I think we can become with their help.

  • Science will fly you to the Moon. Religion will fly you into the side of buildings.

  • @rawdog42 AHH UH HUH YEP...I SEE HAT YOU DID THERE,VERY NICE...

  • Hello youtubers, my name is Jesus. If you give me a thumbs up you will live for eternity, trust me :D

  • I just wanna say that ALL BOOKS R WRITTEN BY MAN !!! Bible: written by a man, Koran Written by a man, Tora: written by man. Bottomline: all those books are the result of some good drugs and fantasy, that's what i think !!!

  • american comedy, weaksause.

  • Freedom of religion? How about freedom FROM religion. STOP TRYING TO LEGISLATE YOUR BELIEFS.

  • Don't listen, God exist of course and he is a flying spaghetti monster.

  • i have one question for atheists. If death doesn't lead to an after life therefore death has no meaning. So why are you afraid of dying? Pain i get, but dying without pain? some might say well we fear that we will not be able to enjoy the things we have yet to enjoy. but when you're dead you wouldn't know all that therefore it becomes meaningless after death right? So why fear death?

  • @namaless90 I believe it's instinct. Creatures live their whole life trying to avoid death. That, along with reporduction are prolly the greatest meanings in life. We just created a whole bunch of things around it, so that we could enjoy life. The truth is, you shouldn't fear death once you're old and have lived a full accomplished life. But logic doesn't usually override instinct. And yeah, it fucking hurts almost all of the time.

  • @namaless90 Also, death is unknown. And unknown + pain = scary.

  • @namaless90 I don't fear dying and why would you assume atheist fear dying.. I didn't exist for 14 billion years and wasn't bothered. I don't expect not existing after living will be any different.

  • @namaless90 I do not fear death. I may fear loss. I love seeing my wife and kids the same as I love seeing the sun rise. However, I find peace in this thought. Given the vast trillions of trillions of potential life based on how human reproduction occurs for my conception to have occured is such a chance that my very existence should be praised and enjoyed. Every day I wake up I appreciate this fact. With all of those who never know existence as we do, why would I regret having to return to it?

  • @namaless90 Animals are fearing death and they don't get to heaven (according to bible), so another pointless Christian argument you have just presented without actually taking a second to think about it. Thats the difference. Christians follow, normal people think.

  • @Tangerine1231 animals fear death or do they fear pain? this is a civil discussion, no need for smut remarks

  • @namaless90 I have known an old lady who has been christian all her life. She really feared death before she died of cancer. So I don't think it's matter of religion. I fear death because there are many things that I want to do in life other than wasting my time on religion. It seems like you're implying that theists don't fear death. Why don't theists fear death? Are you 100% sure that you will go to heaven and not burn for eternity? Are you sure that you chose the right god?

  • @namaless90 Isn't fear of absolute oblivion, I don't know, natural? Just the thought of being completely gone, your very existence disappearing, isn't that scary?

  • @DeShoXX well if you believe that when you die you just die and dun feel anything after death why fear death?

  • @namaless90 Because technically speaking, you haven't died yet. It's completely rational to fear death when you're still alive. Also, I wasn't talking about physical pain, I was referring to the psychological aspect of dying and having you're VERY existence disappear. Though, even then it shouldn't matter because people fear what they will fear. It makes as much sense as people who are afraid of talking in front of a crowd, fear isn't something you have control over, it just happens.

  • @namaless90

Here's a better question for you - why do Christians cry at funerals if the deceased person is going to heaven? We all fear death, because we are naturally afraid of the unknown, that's all.

  • @namaless90 LOL we don't fear death... at least the true Atheist don't.

  • @namaless90 We fear death, because it would mean we stop living. It would mean we can no longer enjoy our lives. The real question should be: why do you christians fear death, if you believe you're going to a paradise in the skies. Answer me that.

  • @namaless9 farktard.. no im not scared of death, but thr r things in this life that i enjoy and wanna enjoy cos i LIKE THAT. when im dead, IM DEAD but why waste this opportunity of being conscious and knowing and feeling everything. its wonderful opportunity. y would i wanna die before my biological clock stops??how does that make any sense at all?? so r u sayin, ur life is so F'd that the only reason u r alive cos of ur belief in some celestial superpower??u dont see anything wrong with that??

  • @namaless90 It would be the other way around - I think that nothing happens after I die, so I need to live this life to the damn fullest. Meanwhile, Christians think you reach an afterlife (most likely hell for nearly 100% of people apart from the fundamentalist nutters) and therefore don't appreciate this life as much.

  • @namaless90 Because you become attached to the life you live for how ever long, with emotions, you wouldnt want to leave that dumbshit

  • @namaless90 your retarded

  • @namaless90 who says atheists fear death? ive never heard that before

  • @namaless90 This is a stupid question. Atheists aren't afraid of death, but we would prefer to stay alive to be with our loved ones and enjoy our life. But we don't need a fairy tale about an enchanted land in the sky to keep us from being afraid of death. Shouldn't believers be joyous and happy to die so they can get to see their god quicker? (This is an equally stupid question.)

  • @namaless90 what a feeble attempt at a logical argument against atheism.

  • @namaless90 Because some people actually like living retard.

  • @namaless90 I don't understand why a christian would fear death. Death only has no meaning if you go to heaven; then it is simply a continuation of your existence. The though of going nowhere is a lot scarier. I understand that I won't fear death one way or another after I'm dead, but I have every reason to fear it while I'm alive. The fact that many Christians fear death shows that they them selves might not be so sure about what happens to you...

  • @namaless90 Wait what? Death gains all the meaning in the world because of it! I don't believe I will have eternal bliss, I believe this experience is the only I will ever have of myself. If anything I should ask you the same question.

  • @namaless90 I would make a counter argument to that... I don't believe in God or any gods nor do I believe in an afterlife, but I'm not afraid of death. I'm perfectly comfortable with me ceasing to exist.

I do think that the religious are afraid of death, that is why you need an afterlife. Because dying is scary to you so you need to feel like there will be a continuation to your life, after your life. But really, what's the point of being alive if you're just waiting to get to Heaven?

  • @namaless90 i fear death because i like living. when you die is game over. i like living so im gonna try to avoid death for as long as possible

  • @namaless90 nobody wants to die so people fear death EASY NUTSACK

  • @namaless90 But not all of us have a fear of death. I work in a hospital and I'm around death all the time. I know it happens, and I know I will cry when people I love die, the same way they'll most likely cry and mourn when I'm dead. But I don't fear it. And I feel a lot of people that believe in God are only doing it out of a fear of covering their asses or they're using it like a teddy bear--just a comfort object.

  • @namaless90 Im an atheists and don't fear death in the slightest. Thats such an irrelevant argument

  • Because of instinct and fear of the unknown. All creatures fear death because of instinct, and then we humans have the ability of understanding what death is, but we don't know what happens, so that makes us even more afraid.

Rather - why do religious people fear death? Since they know they are getting "eternal bliss"?

  • @namaless90 itd be a more valid argument toward religious people, since they believe in an afterlife that's usually way better than the real world... atheists live as if (but don't claim to know for sure) this is our only life and we might as well live it because there's only one shot... Its easier for religious people to be content with their uneventful lives because they think its all going to be better one day. religion MAKES people want to get to the afterlife, atheism is enjoying REAL life.

  • @namaless90 ... but isn't it obvious? To us, death is just the absence of life. It is when we cease to exist as human beings. There are no fluffy clouds, or dudes with big white beards to give us gold stars. What ISN'T scary about that... about ceasing to exist!? I don't know what it's like to not exist..it's unknown, and as human beings, we naturally fear the unknown.

I may not belive in "god", but I LOVE LIFE! The idea of not living anymore some day sucks, because I love life.

  • @namaless90 If U believe that Ur immortal soul will be lifted up 2 heaven where U sit with God 4 all eternity and never fear or cry again... Why do U wear a seatbelt when Ur in a car?... Personally, I don't fear death, death is just sleep extended indefinitely. :)

  • @namaless90 cause you like life mabye .....

  • @namaless90 I have a question for theists: Why do YOU fear death? If the next life is better, why don’t you kill yourself to hasten your arrival there? Ok, maybe suicide is a sin, ok, fair enough. How about this then, why take any safety measures at all? Do you wear a seatbelt? If so, why? Do you look both ways when crossing the street? If so, why? You might get lucky and get to meet god face to face! Why not refuse all treatment when sick or injured? God's plan is flawless, isnt it? Why resist?

  • @namaless90 All animals are afraid of dying, but only humans believe in the afterlife. In the process of evolution, natural selection is the dominance of genes that favour survivability and reproduction. Not wanting to die is quite important for survivability! As a matter of fact, the truth is exactly the opposite of what you are saying. In order to not be afraid of death you have to first understand this, as well as that when you die you will have actually no problem since you will be dead!

  • @namaless90

Same reason people fear the dark.

We don't fear darkness. We don't fear death.

It's the unknown that haunts us.

  • @namaless90 I am an athiest and I do not fear death, but let me ask you a question. If when you die, creationists have the opportunity to ascend to a higher plane, and a better one at that, why do so many of them fear death? And please don't give me the "no good christian does" speech, as we know that is a lie.

  • @namaless90 SOUNDS TO ME YOU NOT ONLY ANSWERED YOUR OWN QUESTION BUT HAVE ALSO CHANGED SIDES

  • I'm deaf in my left ear, i find this video offensive.

  • @OwenIVx I thought my headphones broke. Thank you!

  • The reason there was only one set of footprints, was probably because the guy was hopping lol

  • @nothuman100 I saw two streaks about 3 feet wide side by side in the sand. I think we were having a potato sack race.

  • LIBERALS ARE SO LOST...

  • @999Thip So You think Conservatives have their S.... together. PLEEZE!

  • @Mrpreshutchins THEY HAVE A BETTER PLAN THEN THIS IDIOT OBUMMER , 4 TRILLION IN 3 YRS,

    65 MILLION AMERICANS ON FOODSTAMPS.

    HIGH EMPLOYMENT-

    FOOD AND GAS PRICES,

    ELECT BILLS,

ITS TIME FOR TEA PARTY PATRIOTS--

AMERICA WONT SURRIVE ANOTHER 4 YRS WITH THIS TRAITOR OBUMMER.

    TEA PARTY PATRIOTS 2012

  • @999Thip Can you taste the bullshit as you speak?

  • @Buck2120 NO SIR, BUT I DID STEP IN SOME YESTERDAY,

    that dam dog...

  • @999Thip Damn is with an n, unless you are speaking of the dam that a beaver made. Also a dog that craps bull shit, that is a mircale I would like to witness. I believe that you stepped in is dog shit. The taste in your mouth, well I cannot account for that personally but I am sure speculations could be made. Cheers!

  • @whitefire1997 wisdom comes to those who have understanding,

    its clear you lack both.

  • @999Thip So tell me then what was it that you meant by "dam" did you mean "damn" or "dam" also did a dog produce bull shit? If yes, please explain how that is possible.

  • @whitefire1997 show me where i wrote dam friend..

and ill be more then happy to answer your question.

in the mean time, answer this--

if you died tonight in your sleep,

#1are you saved by the blood of jesus christ.

    #2who would get your belongings,

#3would anybody remember you a month after you past on.?

    thank you for your time.

  • @999Thip Your reply to Buck2120 just above. No I do not care for Jesus anymore than I care for any good and normal person. My family would get my belongings (my wife and two lovely daughters). Yes I can say with assurance in this that many would miss me years after I past on. Thank you for your time.

  • @whitefire1997 no problem.

  • @999Thip

    How are we lost?

It's kind of hard to give a man credit for his opinion if he believes in a Invisible man.

The Bible is a good testament, but sick people like you abuse God for your own sick small minded uneducated propaganda.

You ask us to proof allot while you only got the Bible.

Just like the sad response on the existence of Dinosaurs.

You people actually say they where dragons(WTF?).

    Talking about a weak comeback.

and you tell me I am lost?

    Your funny kid

  • GEOOOOOOOOOOOOORGE CARLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN

  • I've used George Carlin's bit in a Religion debate before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! xD

  • I'm a christian and most of this stuff i laughed at. I don't care what you think and yes religion has done a lot of crap and done stupid things but the thing is get over it when someones a different religion or is atheist get over it. Because I know that we can't be perfect I'm mean we have all fucked up once in our lives and most of my friends are either an atheist and awesome or some other religion or similar. also most christian are dumb asses or fucking to preppy.

  • @freakcat101 I commend you for speaking truthfully from what you have experienced. Thank you.

  • Lewis Black is my hero.

  • THE CAKE IS A LIE.

  • Sky motherfuckin CAKE!!!

  • .......But he loves you!

  • ooohhhh sky cake

  • Comment removed

  • @Jadespeakschinese Nope, all of the comedians in this video are excellent. And all of their takes on religion are excellent, hence the reason i edited this.

  • SHUT DA FUCK UP YOU DONT TALK LIKE THAT !

  • SKY CAKE FOR THE WIN! LOL!

  • that was allsome

  • I've had to deal with this situation with my dad for over twenties years. He will never let up on it because he's a devout christian. I don't hate him for his beliefs I just wish he would be man enough to say that I have a right to my own opinion. I love you for this video and hope more people see it. Spread the word!!!!

  • @timmyjassiel Thank you sir, and yes it can be tough, my mom's a Jehovah's Witness now. Luckily for me she does respect my beliefs. Good luck to you.

  • this guy is a genious

  • looks gods not real...... point blank period

  • Great compilation! Thank you for taking the time to post this.

  • @brightsorcerer you're welcome.

  • you know how i know God is a man? cause he made Megan Fox and angelina jolie

  • religion helps us all forget our real problems for a while b/c it is a totally new perspective on the world that has nothing to do with reality

  • I dont like Patton Oswalt but his version was clever and insightful.

  • LOL dessert wars

  • @ZionHillCalling God is invisible, whether or not he's a "man" is irrelevant. But many religions do believe we are made in his image, and so he's a man. hence "invisible man." And Stanhope may excuse you calling him an illitearte, but superficial? Hardly. Yes, I agree that religion isn't the problem in and of itself, it's people (South Park broke it down perfectly also), but Stanhope speaks more truth than you're giving him credit for. And fuck history class, a lot of it was bullshit anyway.

  • @LawsonComedy religious people never seem to take responsibility for them selves. (stories in bible crealy state its ok to do this.) whether its someone else dying for u or not its not taking responsibility for ones thought and actions. Not to mention is doesnt teach, love thy neighbor, but the opppisite. I find religion 100% a problem. have athiests ever burned books or libraries? p.s. im not religious or an athiest..

  • @ZionHillCalling Dude, no offense, but that's a retarded argument. Atheists have fucked up a lot too, but it wasn't because of atheism itself. However, there have been wars started (or so they claim) by religion. Do you see the difference? Man fucks up anyway, but some use religion as an excuse, or as a reason, but I've never heard of anyone using atheism as an excuse or reason. Period.

  • @tomkingsbridge You just used the f-word. Two times. 2-0 for you, I give you that. Respect!

Please give examples of coutries that are atheist and have not committed any athrocities.

  • @ZionHillCalling Anyone who says religion is the root of all evil (ripping off Lewis Black) is missing the point. The question is does religion do more harm than good. Many people have done terrible things in the name of God, but belief in God has also helped shape society (sky cake) and helped many people in different ways. Honestly, I find that argument less relevant in light of the argument, "Is religion correct?" To me that';s the more important argument

  • @ZionHillCalling You're not getting the point. Atheists have caused terrible things too, but atheism wasn't the cause of that. It was the individual that caused the problem not atheism. Unlike the crusades, when religion was the whole cause of hundreds of acts of mindless violence over which imaginary friend people chose to believe in.

  • @ZionHillCalling You clearly didn't get the point, so why bother? Oh, and I thought we were talking about individuals, but apparently you switched it to countries? Like I said, I'm not going to bother until you read AND understand what I wrote. I guess that just made it 3-nil.

  • Hitler was a roman catholic, Mao never and Stalin never killed in the name of not believing in religion, they just happened not to be religious, you may as well have said that this is what people with mustaches have in store for, you must be able to do better than that, come on!

  • And atheism isn`t actually a movement as you seem to have positioned it, it`s simply the case that people who aren`t religious have been given a name and some people seem to think that it`s a counter view or perspective. It isn`t, it`s like calling people who don`t like chocolate a chocolatists and then hassling them for not liking chocolate. Saying, `what atheism has in store for mankind` is missing the point, it isn`t a movement!

  • @ZionHillCalling those guys never killed in the name of "atheism" so i fail to see your argument....

  • @jdogg781517

3:14 90% of every war that has ever been fought is because of [omit] religion

Most wars are about resources/territory. I believe it to be more accurate if about 10% max of all wars were fought because of religion. Atheism facilitates pragmatic wars over resources as you will only have to appeal to 'common sense' to legitimate a war. Governments supply media with nonsense arguments and people will believe in a 'righteous' war, quite similar to a religious war. Nonne tabula rasa.

  • @ZionHillCalling as i said before none of them killed in the name of atheism.... they didn't make a "jihad" version of atheism to kill believers. Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Po. they never said "take up your arms against the believers and strike them down for believing in gods, they did it in the name of communism and to send a message. lets just agree to disagree and say religion is evil.

  • @ZionHillCalling hiter was a catholic. but w/e

  • @ZionHillCalling Hitler was a Catholic and Stalin and Mao are regimes which are based on one leader, believing that this Leader is all-powerfull and all-knowing. Included are rituals and praying to the Leader.

Plz get your facts straight, Nobody killed anyone in the name of Atheism....

  • @boertje75 thats bullshit, God or not, men will kill each other

  • @anthonycotillo Read my reply again, I never mentioned war is always about religion, only that killing people in the name of a supreme being is quite common, while nobody has killed someone in the name of Atheism. As I already stated: Plz get your facts straight....

  • @boertje75 nobody has killed someone in the name of atheism? thats bullshit, secondly the reason is irrelevant, with or without religion people will kill each other, because here is a fact wars are not based on religion, not even if they say it so,not even religion is based on its principles, is just a struggle for power, man is made in such a way that he will kill for power, atheist or believer

  • @anthonycotillo Again, you don't see the point. The reason nobody has ever killed in the name of Atheism is because only Religion has certain values which are used by extreme religious persons to start a war of some kind. Even if the actual reason is territorial, that doesn't mean that religion is off the hook, simply because Religion is a tool used in order to legalize the war. F.E. the Crusade, the jihad etc. Religion is simply a tool used by the powerfull to control the sheep

  • @anthonycotillo You make a good point but you've missed an important detail.

Do you think the guys that flew planes into the WTC were evil? Most would say yes but they weren't really. They were deluded. They thought they were doing God's will. They thought they were on an important mission for Allah.

    You know what they say:

"You can get good people to do good things and bad people to do bad things but to get good people to do bad things, that takes Religion!"

  • @warren52nz we should define when a man acts voluntarly or involuntarily and how much ignorance plays a part in his actions, but i cant say there werent political reasons for 9 11, it was more a political issue but also a religious issue, there are no good or bad people in the world, and religion isnt at all necesary for cruelty, man has always excel at that since the cave era

  • @anthonycotillo With respect I think you've missed (or perhaps side-stepped) my point. Sure evil exists, political motivations for evil exist but you can't tell me those hijackers would have committed suicide if they weren't convinced they would go to heaven and also that they were killing infidels as instructed in the Koran.

I agree that the motivations probably weren't purely religious but without their faith they never would have gone through with it. So partly evil I guess, yeah. 8^)

  • @ZionHillCalling - Actually, Hitler was a catholic, he invoced god on several occasions in his speeches. However, Hitler, as well as Stalin and Mao, made god-figures out of themselves or the systems they operated within. Taking on religious doctrines and methods to legitimize itself.

Besides, no atheists ever kills in the name of atheism. The fact some killers happen to be atheists, is statistically inevitable.

  • @ZionHillCalling

On Hitler: Read mein kampf. You know, the things he actually said. The entire reason he wanted to get rid of the Jews is because they killed Jesus...

Stalin: he wanted to become a priest in his youth...

  • @Picasso43967 the "entire reason" ? read a fucking history book

  • @anthonycotillo

true, wrong to say it was the entire reason(hell probably wrong to say it was a big reason). He basically dispited them forever. I've heard even when he still went to school.

And obviously the bigger reason was because of economics. Germany was poor. 6 million people without jobs etc. Jews were rich and therefore an easy scapegoat.

No bloody idea why I wrote what I did, lol.

  • @ZionHillCalling You are delusional. If you read about those people you have stated at all, especially hitler then you would not be able to say what you did. Hitler was a roman catholic as he would pray and praise god before and after or during many of his speeches. On the belt of nazis it said in god we trust. Most of his army were catholics or evangelicals. Stalin and mao regarded themelves as gods and in a way created their own religion in that way. How about, inquisitions,

  • @ZionHillCalling crusades, pope propagating AIDS, witch trials, israeli-palestine war, hate, racism, separation, the catholic church encouraging facism before, during and after WW2, the pope right now was aparrt of the Nazis as a youngerster, if the Vatican is the place of god and god picks the new popes as they say, why would he appoint a ex nazi, so please before you go blabbering about something you heard on the internet or through other uneducated ppl, look into it first.

  • @ZionHillCalling

Hitler was a devout catholic as outlined in his book "Mein Kampf"

Also you can't say that a position is bad simply because three people who held that position had some relatively destructive ideals.

Atheism had nothing to do with Stalins and Maos viewpoints, which stemmed from political ideals.

Also there is no logical pathway between "I don't believe there is a god" to "I am going to be a dictator" This logical pathway exists only for religions.

  • There are no religions in this world centered around a believe in an invisible man. That is a very retarded atheist conception of religion, only possible if you stubornly refuse to read a good book or two about the subject. I am not saying that religion is ultimate truth, but if there is ultimate truth it must be of divine order, otherwise it isn't ultimate truth but just truth.

  • Thanks for putting this together, this deserves millions of views.

  • @F3YED where could you possibly get that statistic from? There are many non believers that are happy and I'm sure many believers who aren't. Believers seem to have this thing where whenever they see something horrible in the world they shake it off as part of God's plan. Non believers see it as the world being fucked up. Also, happiness and truth have no real connection. Ignorance isn't always bliss, but it certainly can be.

  • @F3YED get educated

  • @F3YED Maybe…

But it might be due to the fact that Ignorance is a bliss ;)

  • @F3YED Highly ignorant blind comment there. I'm an atheist and I love life! It's good to live your life free with an open mind rather than in denial of the truth for indoctrination or insecurity purposes, which is what the core of religious people do.

  • @F3YED *he/she. And yes, I am deeply happy, thanks for asking.

  • lol, sky cake

  • oh i m LOVIN this guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Religion is a lot like a penis....Its okay to be proud of it...Especially if its big....But don't go taking it out in public, and trying to show it down people's throats...

  • @LawsonComedy

Are you Down School teacher or sth?

  • @0JaSam0 i don't understand the question.

  • Who is the very last guy??

  • @Maccatn2 ...you're kidding, right?

  • @LawsonComedy Its alright i figured it out on my own. Thanks for being absolutely no help at all though, we dont all sit around on our arses wanking over comedians all day

    Enjoy dying alone

Aaaaaaaand im outta here. Reply with a witty retort if you want, i dont really do back and forths on the fucking internet. Byeeeeeeeeeeee xxx

  • @Maccatn2 No reason to be witty here, this occasion doesn't call for it. This is the interenet, friendo, I can't trust people. I figured you were fucking with me. Isn't it enough I took the time to put the name of every comedian IN THE VIDEO? And Carlin is my idol, so I gave him a real over the top name tag, that expands on the fucking screen. But I guess that's no help at all, if you're retarded.

And, I am a comedian. So chances are good I will die alone, and enjoy it.

  • what's the name of the very first guy ? i like his style i want to see what more he has got

  • @Auktoriserad Bill Burr, one of my all time favorites. I suggest checking out "Why Do I Do This?", one of my favorite hours of comedy ever, and his latest special, "Let it Go."

  • @LawsonComedy thanks alot!

  • Best comedy collection on youtube!!george carlin the father of comedy!
