you should leave it like this and make the blue part invisible i kno thatss the lazy way but it would probably be easier i know your having a hard time with this ive been following your videos and blogs for a long time now
I just had this certain stunning feeling. You know, the one you get when you wait for something a longer period of time and kind of imagine how things will be and then when you see it, it's so unbelievably much more better than you could have ever expected it to be. :) great job!
@Murcuseo I changed the tiling of some textures, but it's still pretty messy. I added normal mapping to all the terrain textures though, so they render significantly different now. You'll see how when I get wingman to fly again. :)
@Serialtinus Look forward to it, I'm going to have some more free time now the holidays are well and truely over. I'll be on flokas more often and I'll try and do something about researching graphics types for the concept art. :)

@Serialtinus O M G!!!! Are you gonna make a parachute for the beta? Man when this game is on national tv ill be the one thats liek : "Yeah I know Martijn. Suck on that society!"
@brotherlybrother1 He still needs to be textured, yeah. Right now a simple diffuse texture is already on there, but it's blank apart from some baked shadows. Mccordia can update the skin at any time though. :)
@Serialtinus I've already finished the model (here he is missing hands and part of the grippers), and changed the layout of the UVW coordinates a bit. Next week Ill try and get a more recognisable texture onto the model en a fancy full-face helmet...
The models interaction is quite fluid right now, and doesnt seem to have the rigidity of the inflation . But the behaviour of the leg deflector vs legwing is quite nice.
@mccordia Yeah, rubberman lives! That's indeed what I mean when I say it needs loads of work still. Right now I'm happy that I got it to not spazz out. :) I already noticed that with this we can introduce loads of subtleties in the suit's behaviour, such as with the deflector. Experiment goooo!

Lookin' good Tin man. Have you been working on the terrain as well, some things look different. And by that I don't just mean textures.
Any chance we can see what happens to the suit in flight, just for fun?

@mccordia Making it seem inflated is by far the hardest thing. Right now it completely looses the cell-shape as well.
