  • wow im not scared about this and i dont need vaccine

  • So this brand new study that says pregnant women are more likely to be hospitalized after contracting H1N1. Why? Because the fear factor is higher? Are they being hospitalized on a more frequent basis merely because they are electing to or because their doctor tells them to? Or are they being hospitalized more often because they NEED to? My guess it is the former. It is obvious that they'd be hospitalized more frequently. Some statistics when stated outright imply quite a different story.

  • I'm in the military and I guarantee well get it before anybody else in the population.

  • The U.S. Policy Regarding Pandemic-Influenza Vaccines states: "Because of the lower risk associated with seasonal influenza, those vaccines are held to high standards: They must be absolutely safe; extremely well-tolerated; and elicit few, if any, side effects. By contrast, because the risk of illness and death from whatever virus causes a pandemic is much higher, a higher risk of side effects from a vaccine could be acceptable." This is a new, experimental vaccine using a new untested adjuvant.

  • Dr. Ashton erroneously reports that the yet to be safety and efficacy tested H1N1 vaccine is "subject to even higher scrutiny than vaccinations in the past". The fact is this vaccine contains an non FDA approved adjuvant (a chemical added to the vaccine to allow the manufacturers to use less antigen). This experimental vaccine is being "fast tracked", bypassing the normal FDA approval process for new vaccines.
