the clothes he wears for sherlock is a perfect costume for the twelth doctor and i believe cumberbatch would make a tom baker/paul mcgann like doctor but, the trouble is cumberbatch along with paul mcgann,christopher eccleston, and matt smith are willing to do doctor who for only a few years out of fear of being typecast thats why famous british actors will star in a doctor who episode but will not put on the mantle of potraying the doctor. david tennant is experiencing the typecast curse.
