Even though Jeremy Abbott sometimes has issues with consistency, he is my favorite skater. I don't know a lot about skating, but I always feel more emotion from his performances than other skaters. Many will throw in a lot of technically difficult jumps, but Jeremy flows with the music and has a sensitivity that seems to be somewhat rare in skating these days. Jeremy Abbott=AWESOME!
Just glorious to watch. This is one of the best routines that equally matches athleticism and artistry that I've ever seen. It's like he just exhaled that entire routine out. Effortless. Love this guy.
The foundation that his previous coach, Peggy Behr, gave this young man is what every coach should do- teach the fundamentals well. Yes, Tom has done a great job but for Peggy to hand him over to Tom says a lot about a coach who sees the potential in the skater. Jeremy has maintained the balancing act of artistry and jumps just like those before him: Rosalyn Sumners, Paul Wiley, Brian Boitano, Michelle Kwan, the list goes on.
I have watched this a hudred times, and it still makes me very impressed. I bet that this is the best performance I have seen in my life so far. Thought I expected to see it once again in Vancouver, it did not happen unfortunately. I wish I could see his perfect clean peformance once again at World championships in Torino this month.
I so agree. I was almost as devastated as he was when the programs fell apart at Olympics. He is an absolutely fabulous skater and has everything. Thank goodness we have this to watch. As a fan of Lambiel and Abbott, a very sad Olympics for me.
That last footwork sequence gives me chills. The music was glorious the skating equally glorious!! I'm so thrilled for Jeremy. I hope he does even better in Vancouver!!!
Dear Jeremy Abbott, Thank you for skating to very awesome classical music which has not been overused for the past 20 years of figure skating history. You have my deep respect!! Awesome program and beautifully performed - actually brought tears to my eyes. ~ A fan
The music is so glorious...........saint-saens the master.........this first movement of his organ concerto skated by jeremy abbott.....was simply magnificent.
Plus, Jeremy seems to "get" music better than almost any other skater I've ever seen. Only Michelle Kwan has interpreted music as brilliantly.

@mlc2005 I completely agree. He has the "it" factor that I've only ever seen in Michelle.

This man needs to be a world/Olympic champion... he's too good and has WAY too much talent not to be.

I love the choreography! I'm so sick of every male skater's choreography looking the same these days, Bravo for being different!

Evan should really thank Jeremy for falling apart in Vancouver because I really don't think Evan would have beat Jeremy if he had skated clean.

He is way better than Evan. Look at his edges, posture, the height of his 3A and quad.
