I attended a student party in Sheffield in 1986 where Don Valley and the Rotherhides were playing. F***ing awesome set! I bought a copy of the EP, but have since lost it (actually, it was thrown away by my mom).

I've been waiting to sing this song in earnest for decades.

OMG!!! I remember playing drums for them at on of their gigs in Fulwood!!! Red Mired was such a dude. Wish I still had the ep and jeans that the guys all signed on their last gig at the Hallamshire!

I was really pleasantly surprised to see this up here. My memory was jogged by something. (A I hate tories page on facebook) and I remembered way back to sunny Sheffield when I was a Lad must have been 25 years ago. Great to see you up here Lads!!! Happy days! Hard to believe it's nearly 20 years since their last gig.

I know Tom (Red Mires) was keen for a reunion at one time, but circumstances got in the way.

I've still got the LP and EP somewhere, must dig them out and give them a whirl.
