  • Under New Labour Burnley Lancs is now without any hospital A & E. The nearest facility is miles away in Blackburn. Come all you Labour MP's have a heart attack in Burnley !!

  • Bah, don't shame Britain by calling it a Tory country! We had the first NHS, boo yeah! (I think anyway :S)

  • Thing is, the real crime that Tony Blair has committed is that he is a LABOUR PM. A Labour pm will always get trashed by this naturally Tory country - We sort of borrow parliament for a few years to give it's Tory owners a break, but you know what.. TB has done a bloody good job. Anyone who is interested in this country & it's future should bloody well see the good since '97. Boy hes had a lot to repair.

  • And never forget how Tony Blair helped destoy a nation (Iraq)....

  • And never forget that this video has nothing to do with iraq...

  • Iraq is now a democracy. Girls can now go to school. Whereas 17% of the population had access to water in 2003, 74% now do. Whereas 12% had access to electricity in 2003, 69% now do. Their leaders don't murder them in their hundreds of thousands for speaking out of turn. Women have freedom now. The people can vote for who runs the country. They have public services now. Destroyed a country? Saddam did that. Blair helped start rebuilding it.

  • Bye, Bye NuLabour lol

You have been selective with your vid, typical NuLabour.

You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time.

    Your time is up..... yeah!!!

  • Bye bye? what planet are you on. Labour is still in government and still doing a great job. You've never had it better.

  • Why is reminding people of previous bad government 'negative campaigning'? Isn't that relevant?

  • This needs to be done because the public are so short sighted, they don't know when they got it good until they vote otherwise.

  • I don't approve at all of negative campaigning, I think its petty and childish, but if you are clever enough to spot that its generally a bad thing then surely you are clever enough to look for the other side of the story and make your own conclusion?

Also, to the person responsible for 'the Tories wrecked the NHS, but Labour are wrecking the whole country' you really should try thinking before you (metaphorically) open your mouth next time.

  • Will all you anti-Labour people stop using the word Iraq as a be-all and end-all in any discussion of, well, anything. Especially when it is not relevant, I mean surely it is obvious to you, being 'clever', 'commonsensical' sort of people that this is a video comparing Labour and Tory handling of the NHS and so shouldn't the comments continue in that vein? So 'czdavid1' for example, don't just roll out with irrelevant decisions of the government you don't like.

  • Regarding- jamesalexander2081. Why does your party campaigner and subscriber to youtube's theuklabour party think he is above critism from everyone who wants to add comments on his page. Why is he blocking people from comments. Is it policy to allow fascists into the Labour party?

  • I can understand why you've done this negative campaigning. However, highlighting the tories failures from over 10 years ago seems erroneous. As after 10 years they are a different party, under different leadership. You cannot act as though they haven't changed or learned anything in that time. I'm not a tory supporter myself, but i can clearly see the fallacy of this type of smear campaign. Can't you?

  • They haven't learnt anything though. "Dave Cameron" is doing his best to make us think they're a different party, but there are still influential old tories floating around. Their voting records say it all.

  • i totally agree with u and hope people dont fall for cameron's trick

  • Anyone who seriously thinks the NHS would be better if we had kept on under the Tories is having a laugh. God knows what state it would be in if we had kept at THEIR level of investment.

Reading some of these comments, it's funny how some people choose selectively to accept everything they read today, but none of this stuff that was written back then!

  • "The Tories may well have wrecked the NHS but 'New' Labour are wrecking the whole country." Well said.

Also we can't forget about all the strikes since labour came into power?

  • People seem to be forgetting that the Tories supported the war on Iraq and would have been just as quick to jump in as Labour were.

  • Yeah! and look here:

    Adam Boulton, sky news, today

This is NuLab Real Vision, yet further insecurities and NuLab attempting to pass the buck to PCTs etc.

When NuLab, you are responsible and when will you accept your responsibilities? U R Just like CowBoy Builders.

  • Yes the Tories made mistakes but come on Iraq had to be the worst one of all. Just because the Tories messed up doesn't mean we will vote for you automatically. After Iraq, I doubt I will again.

  • Absolutley pathetic. Neither parties have done any good. Labour is selling off the NHS too but in such a way that the general public are not aware. At least the Tories were open about what they were doing.

  • this is a local election not a genral election. I do wish the PM and his cronies stay out of this. havent we allredy sufferd enough for Mr Blairs leadership?

  • It might be a local election but Labour are terrified, they really are going to be booted out of Govt this time...I can't wait. Unfortunately I have no fait in the Conservatives to save the NHS either. Its too late.

  • i would of liked to see the hard hitting figures in large letters showing the numbers ie nurses doctors etc under the tory rule and now simple but straight to the point labour wins every time

  • never forget how you took us to Iraq.

  • This is absolutely pathetic and truly odious negative campaigning, a sure sign that Labour is resorting to desperate measures to try to regain support amidst their current level of unpopularity. You must realise that there is more than attempting to discredit the opposing party to be a credible government. My bona fide advice to you: drop this awful negative campaign strategy - if anything, it's putting voters off you onto other parties, including the one you're attempting to discredit.

  • The Tories may well have wrecked the NHS but 'New' Labour are wrecking the whole country.

  • laughable

  • Wrecking the whole country? Have you been reading the Daily Mail or just the BNP website BadAlbert? Ridiculous statement.
