Yeah, even though im a Anne Boleyn fan, i see why Mary acted the way she did during her reign, a child who had everything and then al of a sudden everything you knew was taken from you, same with Catherine of Aragon, imagine what must of happened to her ego, ever since Catherine was a child she was told she would one day been Queen of England, and after a long wait, and dead husband, she did become Queen. But a spanish princess being replaced as queen by a lady of her own court.

i understand why she became once day the Queen called "Bloody Mary"...i think for the most of us, having our family, mother, father, loving parents, simple life are her suffering and her feelings incredible. In her stead i would hate Anne Boleyn and the people like her and would despise father (Henry VIII.) from the bottom of my heart. I feel really sorry for her.

You know, my dads side of the family is actually distantly related to the Tudors. I can relate to Mary in allot of ways too. My family life wasn't half as bad, but I know what it's like to have your parents split up when you're a young teenager and your father replace your mother with another woman. My own mom actually reminds me a little of Catherine Of Aragon, but thankfully my dad is nothing like Henry The Eighth and my stepmom is more like Catherine Parr then Anne Boleyn! Heh!
Econimacilly she did because she supported a new trend that back then made sense to the corruption and abuses of the old ways as when constantine supported christianism against the decadent of paganism.
And here is where sadly whereas in past time I would have defended christianity and the concept they badly use as god, now I say that as long as there has been the belief of god and christianity there has been killings done in that name.

Elizabeth also had a cousin beheaded. Mary ended up being a scape goat for the protesants. But at least she is finally getting some justice.
