and San Pedro St., downtown L.A. So, I put a vidcam on him. He's Ted Pillman, known by

a lot of the sreet people down there. He's

no Josh Groban, but a real character he is. This was videoed on the wall of his pharmacy.

I'm a big fan of the Pillman. He's got a certain je ne sais what the fck! I'd call him a hybrid of Charles Bukowski and a character one might see in an early John Water's film with the wit of Rip Taylor. I'd love to know more about Ted (a.k.a. Johnny August, and whatever else he's also known as). Pass on to Ted that I'd love to hear from him. Is that the funniest stuff he's got?
