  • ah bullshit. steroids dont do anything, they dont make you stronger. its a big lie!!!!! its the training

  • :46 whats the wood for???

  • I dont get what the resistance bands do. The either make the weight lifter or heavy. Surely adjusting the weight will have the same outcome!!

  • @curtisbadger no you idiot!!!! If you use bands, the tension of the band rises the higher the weight is lifted, which means that the weight gets heavyer the more the arms or legs get to the point where they are locked=this is the level where your muscles can lift more weight!! so thats why the weight is heavyer at that point

  • does anyone know a vid that explain the theory behind this system training program, thank you.

  • 1.04 that's a weird looking kitchen

  • okay @1.07 when she locks her legs out on the dead lift is that not really bad form? putting a lot of stress on the joint?

  • I had a good time checking out your video. It was comprehensive and I detected a good understanding of westside barbell powerlifting training. I would like to share some interesting videos about Westside Barbell training methods which I found quite useful at youtube.com/user/TheWestsidebarbell .

  • FUCK YEAH MOTHERFUCKERS.

  • What a great video, a true inspiration to all of us at the Asylum Gym.

How much of your equipment do we have in our gym. Thanks Guys.

  • wat is the music in the very beginning?

  • westside=no 1

  • What songs are played in the beginning?

  • humm, i never though of standing on bands when i deadlift, i think im going to use that next back day

  • the dude at about 1:10 was crazy. there was a damn wall behind him how in the heck could you spot that? haha

  • ooo goodie story time again i am um 14 and i bench 5 buses naked and squat 8 whales with only socks on ;-) and powerlift 800 with just shoes goodie

  • impressive ;) haha!

  • hey anybody know the name of that last song? it sounds like it's in italian. thnx.

  • Oh and I have a 15inch penis

  • Dosn't matter when you aint using it ;- )

  • haha :D I feel sorry for the girl when I do ;p

  • I'm 10 years old, weigh 500lbs, bench 2x double decker buses shirted, 4x double decker buses with my shirt off and 2x houses naked!!

  • last time i done one rep i weighed 126 pounds done a 180 pound bench and a 242 deadlift is this decent pm me

  • ima a high school student i weight 220 and i bench 165lbs i squat 275 lbs and deadlift 315lbs. is it good or bad?

  • those are pretty weak lifts for 220, but i can tell youve just started so i wont give you shit

  • whoa....okay well your bench neeeds SERIOUS improvements and your really not squatting that much over your body weight

  • if u cnt bench ur own weight it prety weak

  • i weight 180 age 15

bench 250 paused squat 275x3 (way below parellel and deadlift 315

  • just benched 265 deadlifted 275x8 with no belt and squated 275x10

  • so its basically squats deadlifts and bench or floor presses are the exercises are there anymore to be a powerlifter seriously i'm interested in powerlifting bodybuilding is not for me

  • completely wrong. the way the westside guys train they never do simple benches. theres always gotta be some kind of catch or twist to it, you cant just endlessly bench and expect to get a good bench. you gotta always mix it up and test for new PR's. same goes for the other 2 lifts. always train muscles the right way to help improve in core lifts like hams with glute ham raises and tris with extensions etc mix it up. pick up "westside barbell book of methods" really complicated but its worth it

  • no for powerlfting the major 3 for the competitions are squat, bench press, and deadlift.

  • Love It ; )

  • good shit

  • does anyone know the name of that last song?

  • Louie and the West Side Barbell Club are highly inovative and it shows.

  • it looks like the guy at 0:25 has really bad form, am I wrong?

  • In powerlifting, form gets off due to the heavy weights. It's nothing to be alarmed about.

  • nope.

  • can anyone tell me what the lifters get out of benching while laying flat on the floor. thanks

  • Joints, if you are recovering from a hard work out still you can ease the range of motion by doing presses on the floor. Also having the legs flat takes an of the quad push out of it

  • It's a technique to help with a sticking point. If you find that you're press always stops in the middle of the lift then that's you're sticking point. This allows you to become stronger at that portion of the lift. Try it sometime, it's a great accessory. Bring the weight down till your triceps touch the floor. Hold a 3 count, and explode it back up.

  • maybe they are scared of injury...when your upper arms go down past the plane of your body your rotator cuff and at high risk for injury...but people still do it anyway

  • more of the girl pls hehe. the finnish love their metal too haha

  • Lol no shit, sexy AND strong as fuckin hell!

  • damn man u handle those weights like they were donuts on a bbq stick.

  • steroids or no steroids you still have to train hard and eat right. People in every lifting thread say "oh steroids blah blah blah cheat" yet even with steroids you still need all the dedication, proper training, and eating habits that a natural would need if not more.

  • @joedawgg87 eggs steak and hashbrowns

  • Good music by the way!

  • Looks like some good, heavy hard work.

Where are you based, what feds do you lift in?

  • the video is a collage of various westside barbell lifters training/lifting in competition.

  • get rid of that music. APFers = steroids

  • So whats your point? They want it more and a ready to take it to the next level, I bet you take every suppliment that is supposedly legal and say you are 'clean & natural' get fucking real!

  • yea, those wrestlers that you drool over are up to the eyeballs in gear , and they have very bad hair !!

  • no offense meant but everyone knows that APFers use steroids. Ernie Franz. In reality I would think that most powerlifters use steroids; at least those at the top levels.

I have no idea what you mean by "those wrestlers thatyou drool over"; if that is a crack about me being gay and lusting after wrestlers; no need to insult me because I said that APF powerlifters use steroids.

  • I am not gay; nor do I drook over professional wrestlers; that's just silly.

  • it depends on which powerlifting competition you're competing in. they are starting to test for steroids for most professional powerlifting competitions nowadays.

  • @PowerliftingUK at least they have hair.

  • dammm that's one heavy floorpress

  • ahhh doe
