I am so glad I found your channel.. I saw Chicago in 1977. I was 17 years old. I remember the sexual energy the play had. I saw the play recently with Jerry Springer as Billy Flynn, in the role the great Jerry Orbach orignated. I wanted to gag. It was a side show like his TV show. Amateurish
The "new" play was low on sexual energy. It didn't have the raw feel of the original play.
All dumbed down. Sanitized for the dumbed down masses. I say these things to people and I get blank looks.
