@seanfoxie it could, but I doubt this guitar has different electronic parts from other gibsons, although it has a three pickup configuration so obviously its wired differently. so it could be the electronics i suppose.

Maple or no maple, it's "old" (as are my 2 lefty LPC's, from '78), therefore, has Mother of Pearl fretboard inlays; Gibson is now subbing "figured acrylic" for the LPC board inlays, but still have the gall to ask 3-4 grand for them! What a farce!!!
