This was a real fast moving episode. I loved everything about it; you may not have seen some words on the other parts because it is one of few times that i'm such at a loss for words that I can't even type. Nathan Cook was so good I wish we had him every week; than again it would always be an unfair fight. Both of these players Scoot and Maralyn I feel would make a great match for the tournament since they both played well. This is a 5 star episode for above-explained reasons.
It was Gilbert on the $25,000 Pyramid (with Clark and a couple others subbing), ands O'Donnell on the $100,000 Pyramid (with Clark and others subbing).
And just so we carry 'em all, Gilbert and Dean Goss split the John Davidson $100,000 Pyramid.
and Dean Goss was also the main announcer on Wink Martindale's version of "High Rollers," while simultaneously subbing on the final season of Clark's $100K Pyramid and on "I'm Telling!"
According to the "Jeopardy! 2nd Edition" PC game, in the interviews section, Gilbert stated he announced The $25,000 Pyramid (Clark version) & $100,000 Pyramid (Davidson version).
And that's even wrong. Charlie O'Donnell, Johnny Gilbert, Bob Hilton, & Dean Goss all at one time announced on "The $100,000 Pyramid." Dean did quite a bit during the last season.
Yep Charlie O'Donnell, the voice of Wheel of Fortune; and yes, I HATE it when GSN cuts out the good stuff. Loses its sense of "old-school" that way! Don't you agree?
That's what is missing these days and I miss that. That's way i can't watch GSN sometimes because of that. They got doing the breaks to adv. their shows.
Actually, no bob stewart closing ever had an announcement

"Pyramid" never had a closing announcement. I just thought of one:
This is (name) speaking. The ($25,000/$100,000) Pyramid is a Bob Stewart Production.

Not what I meant.
I said that Charlie O'Donnell wasn't the only announcer on the $100,000 Pyramid.
fatman50000 3 years ago
The sole announcer was Johnny Gilbert.

Not on this version, he wasn't.

Charlie Tuna also was on here too.

Charlie Tuna announced at times on "The $25,000 Pyramid", but not on "The $100,000 Pyramid."

Then why is Jack Clark announcing on a 1985 episode of the show that's on this site?
fatman50000 3 years ago
Making money!! lol. Every announcer has a schedule to keep!
