I'm about to upgrade my bt omega. looking to get a rip clip, e trigger and a apex2 barrel but I'm not sure which barrel is for my gun, the auto cocker or a5 threaded. can anyone answer my question..? not sure what the difference is and i have heard that i need to "mod" the shroud in order to fit the barrel, is that true?

@nava1210 thanks man, the omega is a-5 threaded. the shroud mod thing depends on what barrel length you get, if you get the 14in version youll probly have to cut off the front sight,if you get the 18in version then you should be fine

@nava1210 the threads arent used for anything except screwing the barrel into the gun, the threads on the barrel have to match the threads on the gun. you probly will have to mod the shroud but i would wait till know for sure, when you get the barrel try to see is you can screw it onto the gun with the shroud attached.

how does the bipod attach without the barrel adaptor? I sawed off the front sights of the shroud - will I still be able to attach the bipod?

@AZKIEL1 the bipod has a screw which will screw into the barrel adapter.yes you can attach the bipod as long as you have enough barrel exposed for the adatper to fit. for the adapterto fit you will have to wrap some duct tapearound the barrel bcause the adapters circumferance is to big. i dont know why its like that but all you have to do is wrap about 2 layers of duct tape ten the adapter should fit pretty snug,then you can screw in the bipod

@idkwatdoesitmatter or you can just use your original shroud that came with the BT marker.... I have the same build without the 1913 barrel. Works phenomenally, got a 16inch m16 barrel from petrol which has awesome porting on it, and more authentic barrel tip that looks like a real m16 barrel. The 1913 barrel is cosmetic, infact the only reason its good is because you can mount a forgrip and dude in this vid doesnt even do that. If he had kept the stock shroud it would be better. lighter.

@monk1junk1 the 14 inch version is pretty good if your stock barrel is shorter but not really for longer range(100 feet plus) the 20 inch is excellant, i have a video outon the accuracy but its kinda crapy quality but i was able to shoot alot farther away witout having to lob my shots.

And the trigger, can I also get that link to Borg tech. and I had the same issue about the balls breaking in the barrels , what I did was I got myself a Invert Reloader II w/ Sound Activated Boards (Smoke) and it solve the problem

yeah the first day i bought my bt i bought the rip clip. NEVER ever have i had and breakage or clipping. I also own a tippmann a5 with Trinity expansion and e-trigger with jj 14" barrel. at about 50 yards my spread is maybe about 3 inches apart.

hey i should tell you if the ball takes a curve its not the feeders falt its just that the size of your clip is too big for your barrel if you want to more acurracy just try the diablo dart they are just the right size for your bt. well i hope you get to read this since insted of wasting monry and getting no results you should just try changing the size if your paintballs to the right caliber.
