McCain are you out of touch with reality? Proper infating of tires reduces dependency by 3% and on top of that add 2% for proper maintenance / tune ups.

Offshore drilling can only fetch 1% after 7 years.

Why don't you do the math. Any car made after 1985 doesn't even need a tune-up so your 2% statistic is pointless. Also, any idiot knows to inflate their tires properly. We would only reduce our dependency by 3% if everyone was riding around on flat tires and all of a sudden decided to inflate them because the Messiah said so.
