  • Lol I'm buying it now for $31.40

  • oh crap..i just ordered some crappy illuminad keyboard from china for 33$..i could buy this one..:(

  • is it capacitive or resistive?

  • top-notch review!

  • Thanks for the review. I would have liked to see you demonstrate the trackball. I wonder if it's as prone to failure as the ones on blackberries which they replaced with an optical sensor most likely for that reason.

  • what they should of done was an option to make the LCD into a trackpad too, now that wold be cool

  • Does it support the key combo Shift+W+Space? It looks good but the lack of that combo is what made me regret my logitech backlit one.

  • I thought about these wireless keyboards doing away with the numeric keypad (or the arrow keys) months ago and replacing it with a track/cursor pad to replace the mouse so one doesn't have to bring a mouse. This comes closest but I don't think you can use the touchpad as a track pad, can you?

  • A keyboard that "isn't really meant for extensive typing" .

How stupid can you get ?

This is the most stupid review i've ever seen in my life.

  • I'll never understand why anyone would wanna try this

  • KB normal is better!

  • Is this product compatible with Linux?

  • hairy hands!

  • ok , like a PrO i will tell that this keyboard is totally shit .. you CAN'T work with touchscreen numbers .. you just can't ! experienced ppl will know why , any who have this keybaord - you are retarded. thank you for reading

  • thats a stupid idea, really? just use a number pad! you can buy an alienware tactx for $100

  • not worth it, I'll buy it when it drops to 89.99 which I see happening very soon.

  • @Johnnyboybravo its already down to 104 on amazon which is low enough for me

  • wow goood :O:O :) :D

  • Why not just make the entire keyboard an lcd touch panel?

Those rubber dome keys aren't good for typing anyways.

  • @dingumfCallofDuty

There is one. Called Optimus Maximus. It costs about 5,000 dollars. :D

  • My Razor Lycosa Mirror keyboard beats this shit down to hell =P

  • @leoncarbon Agreed, typing from one right now. Only problem is that just now, the space-bar key stopped working. And it keeps changing my songs. The only fix is to unplug the usb wires. They'll fix that in due time though.

  • @pascbjumper2 really? that happened to your lycosa?? mines the mirror edition , never had any problems tough =P

  • @leoncarbon Mine's not mirror, but that shouldn't make a difference. Is your computer 32 or 64 bit? Lucky you though.

  • @pascbjumper2 mines XP 32 bit

  • Hmm...not very interesting IMHO. I'll give it a week before some gamer pounds on it and breaks it. LOL!!!!

  • This is such a fucking stupid keyboard. My g15 beats that... $100 is the same price of a G15.

  • this is bs i prefer logitech

  • @Falhok

Agreed. If it is not Logitech...IT IS JUNK!

  • its pretty useless if you cant customize keys. You can buy a keyboard with more keys that does the same thing.

  • its funny how on the side there r nothing but twilight eclipse trailer...

  • too expensive

  • r u the camera man for linus sebastian?

  • @fordfreak521

    LOL!!!! No.

  • @Digikid2007 how do u know?

  • @fordfreak521

You asked a question and you got your answer. Take it or leave it please.

  • @fordfreak521 Haha no. I did help Linus out one day though when we did the GTX 480 videos.

  • @HardwareCanucks can u put a pic of the cameraman?

  • Man, that touchscreen not registering my key hits would drive me nuts.

  • yo man y dont u do a review on Microsoft Sidewinder X4 keyboard!!

  • I would rather just have a trackpad rather then a LCD screen. Would be perfect for home theaters.

  • Not bad but I will stick with my Logitech Wave keyboard works great with gaming. :)

  • The only fully lcd display keyboard is the artbedeleev's optimus and costs around 1200$..

  • @AndreaFranchitti no such thing

  • @AndreaFranchitti isnt it an OLED keyboard?

  • @AndreaFranchitti The Optimus Keyboard is OLED.

  • When I first saw the thumbnail, I thought it was a microwave.

  • @N1ght3d lol

  • Is it just me or is the 'LCD' panel just a cleverly backlit glass panel? The icons on the numpad keys are placed in different locations for each mode, and the icons are non-customizable. Don't see what benefit an LCD panel provides over three sets of backlights. Then again, because of the lack of customizability, there's really no point to it being either.

  • @MagicAbracadabra At those prices, you can hardly expect an optimus maximus, can you?

  • @MagicAbracadabra At those prices, you can hardly expect an optimus maximus, can you?

  • @NinadHarishPatil I'm just saying, If they advertise it as an LCD numpad, they'd better have some benefits beyond the glitter and glam. Besides, it's not exactly cheap enough to justify the reduced functionality.

  • @MagicAbracadabra: Exactly! I just bought this, not realizing the icons were non-customizable (you can't even swap them around), and I've VERY disappointed to say the least. The trackball also goes in and out already after less than 24hrs of use. But alas, I can't find a BETTER wireless, back-lit with a built-in trackball for the price. Paid $89 at BB

  • @MagicAbracadabra Sounds to me like you're being redundant.

An LCD panel is a backlit glass panel, with, surprise surprise, an LCD (LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) between the glass and the backlight. TA DA MYSTERY SOLVED

  • amazing and very preety!!!

  • hmm the picture I saw of this looks a little different from the one in this video, I have enough problems hitting the number keys already on my keyboard so don't think that would help anymore. and for some reason though the back light changed color, all well good review guys

  • Garbage.

  • this would be excellent for navigating the htpc from the couch

  • Hey hardware canucks why dont you guys click the button where it only shows when its done buffering i hate it when the vid looks like crap

  • @thelilhacker I didn't know a feature like that existed. Will have to look into it.

  • @HardwareCanucks I believe he wants you to upload; as a private video, let it fully render (a good hour or so should do it, or a day if you wish) and then switch it back to public ta-da :D

  • @thelilhacker or hit pause?

  • @faithofjudas When the video just comes out youtube needs to render the video during that time the video is seen in the lowest resolution afterw youtube is done rendering it will playback in high resolution. So pausing it doesnt do a thing. I posted that comment right when the video was out

  • Second, LoL
