I'm not religous by any means because I think religion's had a horrible influence on humanity(mainly Christianity)throughout history and to this day. None of the beliefs are based on facts and are just on conjecture and tradition. However I do believe everything in the universe including us was created by design for a specific reason unknown to us and will always remain as such. I believe a creator exists in another dimension and in and through evolution at the same time if that makes any sense.
I agree to teach creationism in schools, in mythology classes. It should be taught next to the story in which it was Prometheus who created humans and Gaia who was the earth. In science classes, evolution should be taught.
First problem with this video is that he states all believers are not rational. I have seen many if not most atheists, as irrational, arrogant, abusive. I have seen many more believers with good behaviour, and kindness.
I think good behaviour should be over that of belief. And scientists are of all faiths. And atheism also has no proofs for their beliefs, and so it is a faith. Excluding it as a faith, is more irrational atheist behaviour.

A religion is a set of systemic moral values and guidelines to live your life by, and does not require a god or other superstitious beings(to clarify) to work. Various points of Buddhism such as some of its meditations are scientifically proven to have an effect on your mental state, thus making those proven facts that can be used in creation of sub genres of Buddhism.

@Maddolis Jesus didn't come to condemn the world, he came to save it. The only group of people he did have judgement for were the religious hypocrites in his day, people who were thinking they were better than everybody else because of their religion. @ParadoxEternal when I say some forms of Buddhism, that means a variation of the religion. A religion is a set of systemic moral values and guidelines to live your life by, and does not require a god or other superstitious beings(to clarify) to work. Various points of Buddhism such as some of its meditations are scientifically proven to have an effect on your mental state, thus making those proven facts that can be used in creation of sub genres of Buddhism.

If all religion and science disapeared right now, and all books and knowledge was rendered unusable, and all our evidence(fossils, bacteria etc) of science returned to where it was discovered, we would still discover the same science. @idangle6 I hope you realize most conservatives are not religious. All groups have their radicals & unfortunately most groups end up being identified by those radicals.
