  • I saw them 2 nights in a row in Dallas, Best 2 concerts of my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Greatest video of all time to watch high. I felt like i was watching pink floyd live and experiencing every stimuli that was in that Arena. For exactly 9 minutes and 52 seconds i was in a different world.

  • how does he get that amazing tone on his guitar?!?!

  • Cooool........

  • 51 People died during this acid trip

  • my god

  • I hate the people who were actually THERE when this took place. >:(

  • @killer92173 Then you hate ME!!!! AWESOME!!! I will never forget it!

  • I shot heroin in the veins in my hands and they did swell like two balloons from bad hits and dirty syringes.I also had to "recede" in order to relate.Everything just drifted in and out of my mind.I was in a state of suspended animation and didn't know it or even cared to.I just drifted from bag to bag. Clean now 26 yrs.Reality is painful, but I was to find out that clarity is more important Syd lost his clarity. Life is still a movie but I don't have to participate in the madness. Stay Focused.

  • Probably my favorite. The only thing missing - Roger Waters, but glad at least that Nick Mason, Richard Wright and David Gilmore are there. I agree that they are the greatest band ever!

  • greatest band ever.

  • @f1Ia Dito!

  • @muzikmind77 i actually heard on a radio station that although most people think it's about drugs, the writer of the song actually was sick as a kid and that was how he felt

  • @mancinkm It's about Roger Waters, one time on tour he was in pain and was given strong pain medication.

  • ever since i discovered pink floyd and listened to comfortably numb i can't find any music i like.

  • soo.... is this song about heroine? lsd? trippin, or on the verge of relaity and holy shit?

  • @muzikmind77 I had heard all of those and also that it was about an std. So couldn't really tell you with any sort of authority.

  • By the way.. I was at this show. I was in the USAF, stationed at RAF Alconbury. I went with a pal, whom I am in still good contact with. Was an amazing show.

  • thats at Earls Court in London isnt it?

  • it's just.....that solo...... that fucking solo.....♫♪♫♪♫

  • I wish I was there, and you were here

  • My bowels,

    They have escaped...

  • Only Floyd can have a kick ass light show like that.

  • When he does those dive bombs i jizzed...

  • At 5:00 it just looks like a colosseum of unmoving pink floyd worshippers.

  • That must have been on hell of a concert. Wish I could have been there. It must take a mile long convoy of trucks to haul all that equipment around.

  • LSD.....

  • Nobody in this audience knows what to do... It is too awesome.

  • How in gods name did anyone make it to this video and hit the dislike button?!?!?!?!?!? Or does youtube do that on purpose so Bieber doesn't feel so bad...

  • cosmic....

  • I've probably watched this performance 50 times and still can't get enough of it. Musically it's nearly perfect, Gilmour is even more brillant than normal, the rest of the guys are also totally in the grove. Visually, as a photographer, it's stunning. From the orange lit smoke giving the illusion of fire, to the circle of lights engulfing Gilmour during the solo, to the simplistic backlighting of Gilmour. This could not be more perfect.

  • I am still in amazement of what I just experienced with this video. It is the most awesome video I have ever seen.

  • I just threw away my guitar.

  • @knickovthyme ......LOL.....don't be a quitter,,,,,,i have been playing for i think 39 years...went 20 years without one...shit, it was a GOOD chick magnet.....dave is my fave lead guitarist...on his heels, is SRV, eric, bernard allison.....i realize the latter group, play colored folk music....if any left alive, you kiss this white blues player's ass

  • David Gilmore is the REAL Slow Hand.

  • I am 16 and i think this stuff is the best in the world i don't know how anything can come close to how amazing this is

  • DOES IT GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS?????

  • love pink floyd!!! my brothers favorit band! r.i.p bro!!! <3

  • i was very fortune to have/ it was like a war zone. and as the security duds and cops at every door/ scanned the rows of people /it was tenze

  • I remember watching this tour in 94' in Raleigh, NC life changing experience.

  • Mine's better:

    youtube.com/watch?v=6_8AxG5-S0s

  • After I saw this I went back the next nite I will never be the same Thank you God for giving me this chance..

  • after all I have seen and been throw, I am numb , GOP, is going to fuck you up

  • I love the part where David Gilmour becomes a sillouhette with the white light shining on him as he passionately plays his solo. God I wish I was older than 10 years old when this concert happened.

  • Something about this band stands out from all the other ones, Soul and Passon not only can David Glimour make that Fender scream and make your bones have chill bumbs but the rest of the band Nick Mason can beat the hell out of them drums and Rick keyboards the hell out of it. This band stands on its on nobody will EVER be as good as them. PERIOD and I dont give a fuck how good you think Lil Wayne is he can suck the fart from my ass. This boys are the king of fucking rock im out.!

  • I wish I was there.. but I'm glad am alive just to hear them..

  • This song is sad, lonely and tugs at my heart with honey coated strings.

  • the dislike bar is a ninja ;D

  • Words can't describe how incredible this is.

  • David Gilmour. Your voice. I want it.

  • it took me 37years to finally "get" Pink Floyd and boy do regret not having been "into" them years ago when this tour was going on. what a freaking genius show these dudes put on.....

  • I was born in the right era, now you know what we mean by the good old days.

  • 50 people are Comfortably Dumb!

  • I was lucky enough to have been a teenager in the 70's. Thank God!!!

  • Most beautiful live stage production EVER in the history of music!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @vuslandal im 20 yrs old and i thought the exact same thing

but i probly be hook on crack in my 30s

owell PF wud help me get thru them times

  • @vuslandal I was a teen in the 60's. I have seen PF 2 times in my life and wish I would have seen them here. They will never be able to duplicate this kind of music.

Pink Floyd were and always will be unique and a better guitar solo will never come along.

  • @vuslandal I grew up with them unfortunately never been to a concert, Pink Floyd, Billy Idol and Michael Jackson were very very popular then but noone compares to Pink Floyd EVER EVER!!!! This is the Best band of ALL times!!!!

  • @bugbug10107 I went to one of their concerts back in the 90's and I tell ya, those boys can really put on a show. They NEVER took any breaks in between songs. Their light show, special effects, etc are awesome!!!! That will be a night I will never forget.

  • @bugbug10107 I was at this same concert tour. I saw them 4 months earlier in Denver. AWESOME. I will never forget it.

  • @vuslandal Too right man. I really wish I was born in the 50-60s.

  • your generation doesnt know real music. yep am a 60s throwback but pink floyd makes me happy..where is my waterbed and lava lamp?

  • Who cares how many views this has? It means that only true fans made it to this video. Pleased to be among you all.

  • The live version of this song in my opinion is the best live song ever performed; period!

  • pink floud was not of this earth

  • i know bass is guy pratt, but who is that playing keyboard opposite rick wright ?

  • @Instakill115 Jon Caron

  • Pink Floyd are just simply consumate masters at the craft. In my humble opinion everyone has to take a back seat to these legends of the genre of music that I absolutley adore. P.U.L.S.E Live was simply the best concert of the ages. Just as Frank Sinatra is the master and Chairman of the Board, he would have given Pink Floyd his absolute blessing.Live long Syd, Live long Richard and may you two be at peace. To David, Roger, and Nick may you three continue to share your power and authority.

  • 1,742,448 views? That CAN'T be right, it's only listing all the times I've watched this video...

  • Well I'm 56 and this is THE best video I have EVER seen. I to can't discribe the chills I get every time I see it. Awesome, simply awesome.

  • Just beautiful PINK FLOYD forever !!!!!

  • i think i've viewed this same video 1,740,199 times....

  • Is there a better guitar solo out there? I don't think so...

  • you can feel this song through every inch of your body

  • I swear, this song is it's own addiction. You always say you want a little more, but it just goes on and you can't stop listening! And you know what? It feels GREAT......I don't ever want to overcome my addiction to this song. Even if I do, I'll probably just start all over again.

  • Love this version

  • The Division Bell Tour. I saw it May 29, 1994 at Ohio Stadium. One of the best concerts I've ever seen.

  • It touches you so deep... its like a volcano of emotions has erupted finally and the lava gushing down ur veins...

  • i cant explain the feeling of seeing this for the first time

  • every time i watch this video i always wish to God that time travel were really possible.next to the stage in front of David Gilmour.almost makes want to shed a tear.amazing.

  • I will choose Comfortably Numb over Stairway to Heaven, Free Bird, Bohemian Rhapsody, Hotel California, November Rain, and any other rock classic everytime.

  • @Uppgreyedd As will I, as will I...

  • Damn, this is the most perfect version of this song I've heard. Its flawless and the guitar solo is fucking spectacular. If anyone knows a better version let me know.

  • David Gilmour=LEGEND!!!

  • but not as compare to Pink Floyd

  • lol fuck adelle

  • @TheKarmatenzin Why? Shes a good singer.

  • This... I don't even have words for it... Thumbs up if you agree that this is among the best recordings in modern music. This should be studied. Why can't the pop charts be filled with great music once again? I am 18. I watched the pulse DVD when I was 13 or so. I will give that DVD to my kids in hopes of showing them that music once had meaning, complexity, and had more depth than the number of copies it sold.

I was only 10 months old at the time... If I had a time machine...

  • I am 22, and I watched this for the first time almost ten years ago. I remember thinking "this is the best thing ever", and I'll tell ya, it hasn't changed a bit. This is real music, and I hope people of my generation will come to realize it when they grow up, look back, and see what they wasted their time on.

  • @noleafclover2200 r u still alive?/i was 6 rows 0r9 rows back at right some were

  • @noleafclover2200 im only 16 and love this kinda music O:

  • Would have loved to see this live, even though I was only 8 at the time.

  • 50 people have never become comfortably numb.

  • This music is akin to a religious experience for me, or what I assume one is like. Unbelievable, it always effects me on such a deep level, and has since I fell in love with their music in the early 70's.....amazing!

  • @soupnazi2112

I know exactly how you feel. First saw them at the Grande Ballroom in 1968 and was totally changed,

  • One of best guitar solos ever. This live version is just chilling.

  • David's playing....simply orgasmic!

  • Man who doesn't Love this song? nobody! I love this song you love this song everybody loves this song! I saw them at the old Cleveland Browns stadium. That was Excellent, the video was excellent, sounded excellent, so excellent I'm going to listen to it again!!!

  • anyone else feel they were born in the wrong time era?

  • @xXgodpersonXx No man... it's time for a new generation of true musicians inspired by great music like this to step up and keep the burning torch lit. But I get what you're saying :)

  • @xXgodpersonXx fuck yes. I wish a million times over I was born 20 years ago.....Fucking greatness

  • @xXgodpersonXx AMEN BROTHER!

  • The second guitar solo is what god would play if he started coming down to Earth!

  • @JFalzini31 You ever see the wall?

  • @ Albuquerque . . . excellent point. lady gaga vs. Davis Gilmour. WTF

  • And, to think... that ball opens up to 24 feet tall with a 12 kilowatt light inside it.... not to mention the area all the lights shining on it are coming from is the control center for all the lights.

  • @ambrandt420 And, those lasers were a mere 50 watts each.

  • the best there was the best there is the best there ever will be .david gilmore pink floyd/comfortably numb

  • yes but see. all those 107 million people arent likely to be musicians. us 1.7 million are much more likely to become musicians.

  • Dear Santa......GIVE ME A FREAKIN' TIME MACHINE!!!

  • got to hear this song live, twice. :)

  • When I die, I would very much for this to be..the last tune I hear..then I could finally be free.

  • I was at this concert completly sober and it was still to this day the most amazing thing I have yet to see in my life. I wish bands today put on a real show. This may be the last.

  • i busted a nut, better than sex, amazing song and video.

  • One of the greatest songs ever!!!!!!

  • Known as the best guitar solo in history, only can David Gilmour give a calibur solo like this one and can Pink Floyd produce such masterful music.

  • Lady Gaga- Poker Face has over 107 million views and this only has 1.7 million? So for every 100 people who watch Poker Face, only 1 would would watch this? WHAT THE FUCK??? The world is in a sad state of affairs!!!

  • @Albuquerque5000 would you really want some one who listens to Poker Face to listen to this? Besides that means that if you listen to Pink Floyd that you are part of an exclusive group of intellectuals.

  • @Albuquerque5000 agreed

  • @Albuquerque5000 I couldn't agree more...... It must be the marketing or something..... THE WORLD IS OUT OF WACK!

  • @Albuquerque5000 There aren't any views on old songs cause' people actually buy the CDs

  • @Albuquerque5000 - Its about quality - Not everyone can afford a Rolex, same here... not everyone can understand PFloyd, its lyrics, its meaning, its deepness - let alone its music. You pay with your taste for the highest art has to offer to this world.

This will be classic music in the centuries to come.

  • @Albuquerque5000 We are the 1% my friend ;)

  • Who needs drugs when you have Floyd playing?

  • @RockinAlpacaLord Oh, but the drugs (LSD, shrooms, even pot) make it so much better (not that I am pushing drugs or anything)

  • wowwwwww, every hair on my body hurts from standing up! My nips are perked too! hahahahaha

  • Marijuana + Bose headset + Pink Floyd = The most surreal religious experience, ever...

  • i have massive chills. marijuana does some insane things to ones mindset and appreciation for music

  • This video was just added to a music playlist at JustPlay.fm

  • Wanna here what this songs about??? DOING DRUGS AND SINGING RANDOM THINGS!! :D

  • @JFalzini31 Actually this song was written specifically about Roger Waters' difficulties before going onstage at a concert or series of concerts. As he tells the story, he had sever stomach cramps and a doctor injected him with something so powerful he could barely raise his arms, but the audience didn't care. The lines about childhood fever are also autobiographical. He combined both experiences to write a song that enhances the idea of alienation running throughout The Wall.

  • @danakerman

Actually, Gilmour wrote the music for one of his solo albums. He offered it to the group for inclusion on The Wall album. Waters wrote the words, Gilmour already had the music. Regardless, it's a well loved Floyd tune.

  • @UltraDroid1 I was correcting the OP on the what the song was about, not how it came to be. You're right about how the song came to be on the album, but the meaning of the lyrics is as I stated. There are many interviews that can be found where Waters discusses the meaning and source of the lyrics for this song.

  • I love Pink Floyd but this song gives me goose bumps

  • It doesn't get any better!

  • David Gilmour could fart into the microphone and people would still pay to see it.

  • dammit... made me cry again... this time around 7: 17

  • Awsome, Just friggin Awsome...Rock and Roll just like It was back in the day.....

  • Sends chills down my spine

  • ok well apparently that girl you work with doesn't know music.....she probably wouldnt know a pile of shit from coffee beans

  • WHY DAMN IT WHY?? why the fuck it took me 37 years to finally "GET' pink floyd? all the time i have wasted!!! finally i get what these GENIUSES are all about.

  • @elsoda wow!

  • this gets me high

  • Eso si es Rock

  • lo mejor de lo mejor

  • This is the on the top 10 best songs of rock history list, and so far this is the #1 song THUMBS UP IF YOU AGREE i'm trying to make a survey out of the top10 songs every month, so keep on trying to make this song the best!

  • Have we become Comfortably Numb?

  • @KelmiUSA i don't remember a time when i wasn't

  • @yourabuttkiss Well... When I asked: Have we become Comfortably Numb? I was thinking about that w all the technology this day feels like we become heartless... I saw on the news Yesterday about hit-and-run incident in China involving a two-year-old child left injured in the road as passers-by ignored her. So sad and this song really make me think about that...heartless..."numb"... Thanks for the comments!

  • @yourabuttkiss BTW I LOVE this song! #DavidGilmour is my favorite #PinkFloyd EVER! ;)

  • Absolutely incredible, THIS IS REAL MUSIC! without a doubt one of the most incredible songs and performance of all time. Thank you @profleandrolima for uploading this video.

  • It's to bad that we will not be able to see this band in concert live again.<
