People will probably think I'm crazy, but I think Hayden should have played Bella. LOL. It's insane but, I think she'd be able to show the feminine/emotional/in love side of Bella in a way that Kristen is completely incapable of.

i sort of agree wit u, but on the part where kristen in incapable of showing any sort of emotion. personally i cant imagine hayden as bella. just cant. but i do think she could fo a better job than kristen in the feminine/emotional/in love. :)

I totally agree. kristen isnt very feminine and in my opinion, she can't act. she's alright as bella but hayden is just a better actress.

hayden should've played bella. i think either hayden or leighton meester.

but also, you've got to remember, bella is supposed to be AVERAGE looking. hayden is just too pretty. lol. and so is leighton. i think thats why they chose kristen.

kristen is pretty, dont get me wrong, but she's just average, like bella. but she still cant act.

1) I think Kristen can act..but she has zero emotional acting ability. She takes herself way too seriously to do that kind of thing; she's obviously afraid of embarrassment. That won't be so good when she has to cry her eyes out over Jacob. Or hiss and growl like a vampire. Or pretty much any other character developing moments Bellas has.

I kind of agree, I mean Kristen stewart is so mellow and calm sounding all the time, that it's hard to discern what her emotions are. yeah, I dont really know what she's going to do when she has to cry over jacob...thats a good point. Oh well guess we'll just have to wait and see!

Bella isn't necessarily average looking. Bella herself thinks she average. In comparison to Edward she thinks she's average. But Jacob thinks she's beautiful. So does Edward. So do plenty of other people. Unfortunately too many people (including the casting director) take Bella's insecurities literally and assume she's not pretty at all.
