Anyway, this is by far, the coolest home-made flamethrower design I've ever saw, why? Cause it's wrist mounted, yeah you don't get to see them everyday (well, maybe you do) and judging from the design, I can see that it's perfectly safe assuming that you do regular maintenance, well done, good job, kudos :D

Good job! What exactly is the fuel you're using? Some things that self-oxidize need a valve to keep the flame from blowing back into the fuel line. Is there anything like that on your contraption?

I can understand why you switched to using gas fuels at STP as that was a prime example of how ether accidents happen at 2:05 , you've got to respect it's high vapor pressure and its combustion range! was that what made you switch to LPG? the flame won't back track to the fuel source because 1 if it did it would have to melt the hosing in order to actually burn (it needs oxygen so there can't be a fire within the fuel line itself) and there also seems to be a minimum fuel delivery set i.e. when there is constantly fuel delivered to the tip, just like a lighter...think about the reasons a lighter won't back track and blow up

actually in the third xmen movie the last stand Pyro does have a mechanism like this because he can create fire but he can control it so if you look in teh sleeve of his jacket when he is fighting bobby he has that thing on his wrist so it does look like pyros a bit
