dirk doesn't "choke" in the playoff, its just that people start playiong good defence in the playoff, s he has to take lots of really hard shots, and he isn't very good at dealing with double teams. But on his night he dominates anyone on offence

Nah, it was a Christmas game on ABC in like '04 or '05. I remembered it so clearly because I practically recorded the entire game and watched it over and over again. He hit 5 tres in a row that game, just a few games after Kobe hit like 9 in a row. And the Mavs pulled out with a come from behind victory in overtime I believe.

really? is that why he scored the game tying and-1 against san antonio in game 7 of the c. semis in 2006 and then the next series dropped 50 on the suns in game 5? i mean i agree, dirk has choked alot in the playoffs, most notably the finals in that same year, but there has been many games he's also stepped up in a huge ass way. this may surprise u but he actually averages more points and rebounds in the playoffs then in the regular season. :O
