BUT still it would be great. setting up a petition or operation called "mobleized" and try to get enough signature to get those games to the US in english, & in a collection set for both ps3 & 360 &/or next gen. and send it to Atlus (if they still own Zoids at that time) (ouo)

i'm sure the reason Zoids Assault appealed to me so much was because it was a mature zoids game and was quite gritty. I regret trading it in, it deserved a permanant spot in my game collection.

i bought this for my girlfriend and have also been playing it. Even i'm finding enjoying the grainy visual filter difficult, as finding my own team members is difficult enough - especially with the... 4 different paintjobs you have. But the game can be fairly difficult, if you mess up you get punished. So i'm enjoying the challenge. Just wish someone would translate one of the better games and not butcher the dialogue (Legacy/BL anyone?). I wonder if they'll ever translate VS3..
I was looking in the xbl marketplace and saw this game. I thought it was a rip off on Einhander because the two pictures look really similar with all of the guns lying out before the mech/gunship.
The game is built off the engine from Chromehounds. As for the similarity of all the weapons being laid out, it's.. a common thing, been done in military photos and games for a long ass time. It's always nice seeing a large quantity of firepower though, i must say.

In anycase. This game sucks because it takes what should be a RT game and puts it into a turn based game. It looses all of the fast paced action you see in the anime.
Idk I found it the other day in a game store and I'm having fun with it. I enjoy watching the fighting sequences. I would have liked there to be more options in zoids though. Or maybe like the GC version where you pilot the zoid. That would have been even cooler. YAY ZOIDS!!

My thoughts exactly. I'm psyched that there's FINALLY going to be a Zoids game in the US, but this looks pretty dull. I mean, the show was action packed, but here, the Zoids just sit there shooting at each other, and don't even try getting out of the way. Maybe that would work for an RPG, but this doesn't really look like one. A better idea would be to make this like the Gundam: Zeonic Front PS2 game. That is, tactics mixed with real action; not just tactics.

well it depends its a strategy game pretty much so if you like those games i recommend it but its nothing lke the gamecube version but overall its a good game it has good graphics but the one bad thing is you only get 5 zoids to work with and like 9 zoids your up against

I don't know what it was about Zoids. Giant animal based robots arn't that great, but they did something right. Maybe it was the seriousness of the series, or the darker artwork, or perhaps it was just "If we're going to have a tiger, the cannon on it's back is going to be FUCKING HUGE" mentality. Zoids FTW

For all you people who want a sequel to the battle legends game, there already is one. It's called Zoids VS III, and it's only in Japanese. Instead of whining about how much you want a sequel, go buy a freeloader for your Gamecube and order the game online. You probably want to buy a new memory card too. Not much has changed. Sliding, flying, 1vs3, 4 player split screen and a few other features have been added.
I have it coming in soon, but I saw the reviews were very low... either way I plan on getting it. I kinda grew out/ lost touch wit hZoids so... I have Battle Legends on GC and OWN! lol, I hope I'm good at this game and it isn't a bore-fest... I love turn-based games... keeps u on ur edge. nice vid too, lol

that right there was my only complaint with Battle Legends and the vs. games.... true they stay akin more to the anime, but the computer opponents in vs mode are easier to beat than jumping on yoshi in super mario world. TO get a true opponent I have to have someone to play with. However, the computers in storyline mode are alot more difficult but they add so many zoids the FPS rate lags like a bitch.
I agree, I really think the developers of this game had little knowledge of what zoids are and how they battle. I hope this game doesn't ruin the chance of a real zoids game coming out.
I'm not too much of a person that goes by reviews for anything, so until I personally get my hands on this game (and a 360 lol XP) then can I say this game kicks ass or really sucks. But what it seems from the trailer: it looks like a somewhat average console RTS, and fans of the series should look into this game atleast. Hey look at it like this: if it does become generally disliked by many we could see an early price drop! ^_^

actually their S-ligers, their a light balanced class zoid. Slower then the S-tigers in the game, but slightly higher armor and attack points. Still say the biggest downfall to this game is the lack of zoids. S-Liger, S-tiger, D-Bison,R-horn and C-wolf. None of the kick butt zoids we saw in the shows.
any chance there will be downloadable content, like new missions, a hell of a lot more up to date zoids and weapons? it seems a little stupid and unfair that theres 5 zoids to pick from. 2 R-horns a D-bison, S liger and S-jaguar and your unstoppable.. i mean theres just no challenge. Please more content or a whole new game, similar to zoids legacy but even better with 1st and 3rd person views. With all zoids!!! :)
Man I hope this ends up better than Spectral Force 3 or Operation Darkness...not saying those 2 were horrible, but they left a lot to be desired..then again, i love atlus' desire to shell these out to us . :)

i agree.. it does look great but the feel of being an actual zoid pilot was taken away - which was the predominant idea why people love zoids. i guess you could make a one man... i mean... zoid army... a fully upgraded liger? betting this is turn based. maybe good... i loved the gba ports of zoids and this has the same feel.

well the toy line just got a relaunched in japan and there is genesis and fuzor for people that want it. It is subbed. I'm rewatching zoids chaotic century and its awesome playing games like zoids battle legends. ah so nostalgic.

For all you people who want a sequel to the battle legends game, there already is one. It's called Zoids VS III, and it's only in Japanese. Instead of whining about how much you want a sequel, go buy a freeloader for your Gamecube and order the game online. You probably want to buy a new memory card too. Not much has changed. Sliding, flying, 1vs3, 4 player split screen and a few other features have been added.

I have it coming in soon, but I saw the reviews were very low... either way I plan on getting it. I kinda grew out/ lost touch wit hZoids so... I have Battle Legends on GC and OWN! lol, I hope I'm good at this game and it isn't a bore-fest... I love turn-based games... keeps u on ur edge. nice vid too, lol

i havent played this game yet but i honeslty think its a shity game. i mean there were no guns like this in zoids. now zoids battle legends and the vs games. now they were true zoids games. this is just some kind of....shity remake of zoids where it looked like some kind of idiotic company took zoids and who probably never even watched any of it and took it and tried to make a few dollars to save there shity company.

I may dislike turn based games. But at least I get to have a brand new zoids game. It looks awesome. The graphics are awesome. I dont care about what a review says. I dont care if I just wasted money to buy it. As a fan of the series I cant help but like it. Its based in the chaotic century which I dont like but thats besides the point. Say what you will. I think its good.

that right there was my only complaint with Battle Legends and the vs. games.... true they stay akin more to the anime, but the computer opponents in vs mode are easier to beat than jumping on yoshi in super mario world. TO get a true opponent I have to have someone to play with. However, the computers in storyline mode are alot more difficult but they add so many zoids the FPS rate lags like a bitch.

I'm not too much of a person that goes by reviews for anything, so until I personally get my hands on this game (and a 360 lol XP) then can I say this game kicks ass or really sucks. But what it seems from the trailer: it looks like a somewhat average console RTS, and fans of the series should look into this game atleast. Hey look at it like this: if it does become generally disliked by many we could see an early price drop! ^_^

actually their S-ligers, their a light balanced class zoid. Slower then the S-tigers in the game, but slightly higher armor and attack points. Still say the biggest downfall to this game is the lack of zoids. S-Liger, S-tiger, D-Bison,R-horn and C-wolf. None of the kick butt zoids we saw in the shows.

any chance there will be downloadable content, like new missions, a hell of a lot more up to date zoids and weapons? it seems a little stupid and unfair that theres 5 zoids to pick from. 2 R-horns a D-bison, S liger and S-jaguar and your unstoppable.. i mean theres just no challenge. Please more content or a whole new game, similar to zoids legacy but even better with 1st and 3rd person views. With all zoids!!! :)
