Based on the date listed here, it's been some 20 years since this song was released but it came to my mind this morning. Glad to find it here, been a long time since I'd heard it.
Most of the medical and social and public assistance work in this world is done by non-christians, and your imaginary god has never solved a problem yet.
In fact, it's a very good thing he IS fictitious, as the Bible depicts him as an evil, sadistic tyrant:
@Imaginefree69 We cannot blame God for our problems, often the consequences of our mistakes or mistakes of other people that affect us.God loves everyone, and also loves you.Although you see the calamities of the world and think that God never acted on the life of someone ,you have to know that he acted in my life and gave me joy and peace. He doesn’t promise us a perfect life but says: "In life you will have tribulation but be of good cheer for I have overcome the world."
@dinhapoint " he acted in my life and gave me joy and peace" That is truly wonderful news. I am happy for you. I am equally happy for the many people with very similar testimonies owing to EST, Positive Thinking, Imagery, visiting Lourdes, visiting Amma the Hugging Hindu, reciting the Miracle Prayer, chemotherapy, psychotherapy, nutritional therapy, aroma therapy, yoga with llamas, and every other form of healing. Good on ya!
@Imaginefree69 God help and healing, even those who do not recognize him as Lord and seek other forms of gods. This is a good demonstration of the compassion of Jesus or God, for all human beings.
@dinhapoint "We cannot blame God for our problems" Your god is quoted as saying the opposite: God created evil. "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things." Isaiah 45:7 And he devises evil. Exodus 32:14 "And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people." And he causes evil. "shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?" Amos 3:6
"We cannot blame God for our problems, often the consequences of our mistakes or mistakes of other people"
I can give you two examples from the Bible which refute this nice cliché.
1- Job was the most righteous man and he trusted God.
For this reason and no other, God encouraged Satan to murder Job's beloved children, ruin his health, murder his servants and livestock, turn his wife against him, and destroy his wealth. Because he trusted God.
@Imaginefree69 Yes, God allowed Satan to take away all of Job, so,it is to blame Satan and not God.If God allowed, was to show everyone that Satan was wrong about job’s fidelity to God.
@Imaginefree69 I didn’t say all problems are directly our fault.A truth is that since Adam and Eve sinned,we reap the fruits of their disobedience because even though we think we can do good, but often ,we kill people with words and many problems arise.
Responder a este vídeo... There is no power in me to convince somebody. What I have to do is,to talk about God, and the Holy Spirit is who convinces of justice and of Judgement.
@Imaginefree69 Jesus gave us free and not interfere in our decisions, but helps us when we repent and turn to Him in prayer. And there’s more, God gives rain and sunshine both the righteous and the wicked and gives wisdom, even those who do not recognize him as the Lord. The verse of Proverbs 1:26, I think you didn’t read the entire context of the chapter ,
@Imaginefree69 I read the bible too.And .incredible,I only saw a marvelous God!II respect your opinion, nobody is obliged to accept God or Jesus or the Holy Spirit! I want that you to be really happy ...
@Imaginefree69 because it is clear that the Lord is love but also justice, He gives us opportunities to repent, but one day we will have to be accountable for our choices. Honestly, if God was cruel, He wouldn’t say:

@Imaginefree69 “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. " Mathew 5:44 e 45,or
@Imaginefree69 “ But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful”Luke 6:35 e 36. And also,Matthew 7:9,10 and 11 and Matthew 11:28,29 30.I whish that you hear the song "there is nothing greater Than grace" by Point of Grace. Please, just listen ...
@dinhapoint God commands kidnapping little girls as slaves after killing their parents and families: Numbers 31:17 ff "Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman who hath known a man by lying with him. But all the women children, who have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves." They kidnapped 32,000 little girls that time! And a portion were given as slaves to the Levitical PRIESTS!
@Imaginefree69 These people have the chance to repent but they did not so ,they suffer.these people were not tried without being warned by numerous times.God is wisdom,He is like a father and he corrects his children.

One pair of hands actually helping
is worth more than a million pairs of hands clasped in prayer.
Prayer is an excuse to stay comfortably at home
while feeling like you are helping others.
Prayer is nearly always a substitute for getting involved.
Or, in the case of praying for the sick,
a substitute for common sense.
If you want to help,
unfold your hands and get involved!

@Imaginefree69 We have to do what we can do BUT God do what we CAN'T do!that's why we need the effectual fervent prayer!

@dinhapoint part two, refutation of
"We cannot blame God for our problems, often the consequences of our mistakes or mistakes of other people"
2- "And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.
And his disciples asked him, saying,
Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents:
but that the works of God should be made manifest in him."
John 9:1
God harms human to glorify self.
Again.

You seem to have lost a couple of words from your cut-and-paste reply.
be sure to give credit to the comic book you got this from.
I will not respond to lengthy cut-and-paste tirades, sorry.

" Proverbs 1:26, I think you didn’t read the entire context of the chapter"
Well, your assumption is based on ignorance, so you mustn't be surprised that it is incorrect.
I've read the entire Bible many times, as I taught it for over 40 years.
There is NO context in which anyone laughing at human suffering and mocking human fear can be anything but an evil sadist.
"God of love", forsooth.

" helps us when we repent and turn to Him in prayer."
Two hands stacking sandbags or feeding the hungry are worth two MILLION hands clasped in comfortable prayer.
Even Jesus couldn't get his prayers answered, and neither are prayers answered today.
Millions of Christians regularly testify
to God's protection and healing power.
Why don't the insurance and health statistics
show a lower rate of illness, injury, and death
for believers as opposed to unbelievers?
Why is that?

"if God was cruel, He wouldn’t ..."
A nice, emotional argument, but it doesn't hold water.
Doing something nice does not mean a person isn't cruel.
Hitler liked puppies and children, you know.
And YHWH didn't say those things you quoted.
That was Jesus.
Very devious and deceitful of you, actually, to try to sneak that past us.

“But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you..."
Ah, if only Christians obeyed jesus.
What a different religion and world it would be!
But they don't, alas.
Christians are the most potent evidence against Christianity.

@Imaginefree69 Unhappily, not all Christians are truly converted, but there are people who really seek to follow in the footsteps of Jesus.
