It's a contradiction for you, because you've been taught that socalism = state control, which is utterly wrong.

I didn't create the concept overnight: anarchist communism is as old as marxism, that is about 150 years old. See Kropotkin, Bakunin or Proudhon in wikipedia, or somewhere else.

It's simple enough: you get rid of both capitalism and the state, the two great tools of social oppression. No state control, yet no more capitalism: you got libertarian socialism. Is it that stupid?

It's a contradiction for me, and everyone else, because Socialism = State Control. Just as Communism, and Cpitalism require state control. All three systems specify who owns the Means of Production. Ownership requires someone to enforce that ownership. That would be the state. More distributed ownership means more government control. If you get rid of Government control, you have something very closely resembling Capitalism, but with the physically strong controling the wealth.
