I own both the Cherokee and Liberty. I have a fondness for both. My Liberty can pull a 5,000 trailer, or claw its way out of the woods with a trailer full of firewood. With aggressive General off road tires it pulled a 15,000 pound LP truck out of the ditch. It turns sharp, parks easy, it can zig zag between trees in the woods that would stump a smaller SUV. Stop hating on it, it's rugged and has more footroom then my Cherokee.

@donteverlietome I think the reason people trash the Liberty is because folks such as myself that have owned 3 Cherokees, were upset when Jeep cancelled it and introduced the Liberty with it's round headlights and cheap plastic appearance. When sales plummeted, Jeep revamped it again, and now the new Liberty more resembles the late Cherokee. Basically, we want our Cherokee back. How dare you steal it from us!! Imagine if they did that to the Wrangler? Oh boy... But your right, all Jeep's are #1

I don't know what people are whining about with the name - cherokee, liberty... who cares. The Liberty is a beautiful vehicle and great off road performance.
