Amy and Emily's harmonies are spine-tingling. Pink is also a talented performer. But Indigo Girls songwriting talent are out of this world. It's almost as if the music itself is already enough to communicate the message or feeling of their songs(but their lyrics are equally beautiful of course). I thank God Indigo Girls exists and wrote such beautiful songs

They feel texture when they sing. But, so does pink. I am a professional. You can't have a weak link in the trio and produce harmonies like that. That is why they asked Pink if she had had lessons to learn how to harmonize, how to be musical, as they are. Mutual respect and understanding. It is really hard to find people that feel the texture you are talking about, as performers go. Even some of the best musicians don't feel what you are talking about.

This is probably the best protest song of the 21st century. I am so thankful and grateful that a Top 40 pop star took the time to put this out with the Indigo Girls. The last six years have been horrific for the gay community. Pink has put words and music to our heart-felt questions. Thank you.
