Rather than, you get WG and you can kill VoA, u know, well. maybe an actual raid that we can compete for. SOmething bigger, like, as long as naxxrammus . I have been playing WOW since day 1, but DAOC was the shit. PVP in DAOC still to this day is the best of all games in existence right now. If you're into PVP then you have to give DAOC try. Leveling in that game is borrrrring as shit, but once you hit 50 you go out into the PVP zones to take the other factions keeps. Hobbs, I laugh when you tell the story of leveling your toon off the purps. The HIBS had the same thing and it was called the FINS group. Nice video.

I think a good idea that would be cool is a raid in WoW where Horde and Alliance need to work together to kill the last raid boss in cataclysm, and there was 80 man, 40 Ally 40 Horde. And there is a special zone where Horde and Alliance can communicate to find a group for this, and Horde and Alliance can actually understand each other.

@steffanwb it is almost like abyss yes, but not with keeps.. in daoc u fight out in the Realm vs Realm area for the keeps, if u have most of the keeps u gain access to darkness falls. and then its just like he says, u go deep and get better money and exp, but mostly the highest lvl guys go down, + there are 2 extream bosses with the best loot ingame

@Arian545 no, Darkness Falls was like.. Say you were fighting Koralon (Now DF was about.. 13 hours to clear... many many many wings. Sexy dungeon. But imagine being on Lich King difficulty bosses and in a VoA type instance and randomly income 2 other factions.. like alliance/horde and some badass trogg race (lol random) and you have a RvR or Realm vs Realm, go look up RVR DAOC.. and Darkness Falls, you will understand.. It was hella scary.

The camp you were speaking of in lyonesse is called the "pygmy goblin camp" or otherwise affectionately known as "tanglers". The type of pulling you were referring to is called focus pulling and was done by a cabalist. The Cabalist summons a simlcrum (sp?) and in their matter spec. they get a spell that causes damage to everything that attacks it (very similar to ret aura) it is hard to pull agro from this if you are splitting threat to two healers. The aoe casters were ice wizards.

World of Warcraft does have a thing similar to Darkness Falls, Wintergrasp! :D VoA drops Pvp gear to make the pvp harder and it drops T10.5 in 25 man :D

For those of you who are thinking "WG" Wintergrasp / VoA may sound like it is comparable to Darkness Falls. But VoA can't even come close to what DF was. DF was sooo massive and the freaking respawns... It took me awhile to get rid of the PTSD from that place. Crazy times !

in a way it is, but each realm has there own side to start in. If you want to kill Midguard (Realm from DAoC) players you need to fight your way to the Midguard starting zone. Dark age of Camelot had the best PvP EVER in a MMORPG. If you never seen this game watch some videos. This game is like from the year 2000 or around there.
