so what you're saying is that the Punch Brothers are more impressive and influential to acoustic music than the likes of Del McCoury , Ricky Scaggs, Earl Scruggs, Hot Rize, New Grass Revival, Bob Dylan, The Avett Brothers, Old Crow Medicine Show, Emmy Lou Harris, Gillian Welch, Danny Barnes, Uncle Earl, Allison Krauss, etc. (this is just SOME country/folk/bluegrass legends...not even considering all the world music out there) You're absolutely bonkers. Get a clue dude.

Yes. I'm not saying that the others aren't great. But all of them lack the musicianship these guys have achieved.

But I would only expect true musicians to appreciate that.
