Quite an unbelievable revelation,thanks for posting. I'm quite sure if I ever get the urge to rob a bank,I'm flying to Japan first. That electric chair looks quite comfy cozy. You would probably fall asleep and not even realize you're being electrocuted. I also heard they give out a pack of gummy bears to everyone about to die,awesome!
Japanese prisons are much more luxurious than most jails around the world. But then again, they have a much lower crime rate! I'd say this jail is for low category inmates.
I seriously doubt that you would want to go to jail in Japan because the only way that you will get fed, is if a family member pays for you to eat. The reason its probably so nice, is because the government has the funding to make it nice and the prisioners have more respect for things in Japan, so it won't get destroyed.
