  • so basically they take these trucks, abuse the fucking shit out of them, then point out their weaknesses. seriously, who pays for a brand new truck, and treats it like this in the real world? and the ford looked like those other 3 trucks on that road of death! it was all over the place too!

  • THE DOGDE is like the really strong guy who cant stand up for himself in a fight against PEE WEE HERMAN!

  • I have an 08 F150 5.4L and my truck is soo quiet to drive, quieter then any car ive been in or suv! Just wish they used a 6speed auto in the truck instead of waiting for 09

  • Why the hell is he so aggressive

  • well, you know girls drive those other trucks, they like vibrations...

  • bottom line AMERICAN TRUCKS ALL THE WAY! :) i have both a chevy and a ford truck and YEAH i dont play favorites but i will admit the ford is A LOT tougher but i like my chevy for it's own reasons as well. let's take down those wanna be BIG BOY foreign trucks. asian's are over compensating for their little wieners lol and just like their unsatisfied woman over there.... we here in america please a lot better :D

  • @victorbarrios44 Care to follow me into the outback in Australia? I thought not.

  • ok, besides not staying straight on the first test how did the chevy do worse than the ford? looks the same to me.

  • @RicerEater1978 what video were you watching? That chevy was bouncing like crazy.

  • @Jimbobbubbaloothe3rd it was bouncing a bit more, not much though. there also focused on camera angles that would make the ford look good. if you watch the ford, its all about the wheels and the bed to body. only body shot you get of it is just as it starts and ends. i love both equally, but i guess you cant expect more from a comparison paid by ford. lol

  • @Jimbobbubbaloothe3rd and ACTUALLY i just found another version of the video that compares with with side by side video. the ford truck doesnt stay straight either and the box moves around a lot more :)

  • Yeah, Lets compare the 1 tons. First lets find a Tundra 1 ton...

  • 1:41 "thats an adequate mount for a camry, that aint gonna get it done in a truck"

  • its almost a Ford adverstisement.....

  • @shadow479 it is

  • "experts" cough cough

  • So after all these tests, none of the engine mounts were broken?? I guess they were all sufficient... All the experts could find better on the ford was a bigger engine mount? Ford must be better if it has bigger engine mounts...

  • Still a little bias

  • im 17 but i swer one day im going to work for gm specially for chevrolet and im going to make silverado the best truck enogh said!

  • @elasdeases1, why not work for the company that allready has the best trucks, FORD

  • simply because gm means my life i love gm especially chevrolet @123abcpa

  • @elasdeases1, well good luck to you, i hope you find sucess in your field. anyone who wants to engeneer a better truck has my respect.

  • @123abcpa thanks and im not saing ford sucks or anything i just love chevrolet but i like ford trucks too and there is a long path to become an engineer on chevrolet but im down to follow it untill i get there

  • What about the H1 Hummer, it also uses coil springs front and rear. If Hummer can use coil springs on the H1 for the military, then Dodge should be ok using them on a 1/2 ton pickup. I like fords but this guy has alot of videos talking trash. I understand that every year they one up each other. But making alot of videos saying this piece is better than chevy oh and this piece is better than dodge and this piece is better than toyota. Really sounds like over reaching, let the truck sell itself.

  • Old cars also had leaf springs, then went to coils. Almost all 1/2 ton pickups are just big cars, they will not haul what 3/4 and 1 ton will. But thats the point behind the coils on the dodge ram. Where do you draw the line on towing and comfort. All full sized suvs use coil springs. For the average guy a 1/2 ton is all that is needed. People who need REAL work trucks don't even look at 1/2 ton pickups. It just sounds funny when they try to market how much a 1/2 ton pickup can haul and tow.

  • i wonder who this guy gets paid by,.....hmmmmm

  • @Thamac15 drivers talk radio

  • WOW!!!!! look at that 0:48..!!!!! now that what i call shaking your BOOTY!!!! lol

  • WOW....im glad i own and love and plan on keeping my 95 f150...altought my suspension is a long travel ibeam with king coilovers...i wish i could try my truck at silver creek!!!

  • @WILLDAMIEN I think that old boy might just shake itself apart if you tried.

  • @WILLDAMIEN NOT TRYING TO BE AN ASSHOLE, BUT HONESTLY YOU CAN'T COMPARE A 1995 F150 TO A 2010 F150. I'VE SEEN CRASH TESTS OF OLD F150 AND THEY TRULY SUCK... NOW NEW F150S... THEY'RE JUST NOT THE SAME TRUCK

  • HAHA TOYOTA IS JAP SCRAP, THEY dont even bring a truck for the big 3.

  • @FordmanHaulit3002010 big 3 don't get sold in australia or africa.

Land rover, Nissan, Toyota are the toughest vehicles to be had. talk to people that have real world experience.

I live in Australia, I drive a toyota. It's a '92 model, I take it sideways through dirt roads similar to that pavement test. I'm not kidding. 75 series land cruiser, leaf springs all around.

Not comfy, not powerful, not targeted at an American market.

    A real 4x4.

  • @sovereign126 shutup man toyotas suck ass, the reason theres toyotas in africa is because there jsut there, there are fords in africa, toyotas suck ass. so does any nissan....etc

  • @FordmanHaulit3002010 If ignorance is bliss, you're a happy motherfucker.

Toyota's are popular in Africa due to their very well known reliability, and insane amounts of spare parts, reasonable fuel consumption (massively important when you have to travel hundreds of miles of desert), and their tires match up with nissan and fairly sure land rover as well. (Not easy to get 42" tires when you're in africa, rather stick to standard)

  • @sovereign126 Yes they due, there just not manufactured down under. But the new Ford Ranger just might be another story. The sad truth is, they do not make right hand drive factory conversions. So that’s an optical all by itself. But if you Google American Pickups Australia you'll find quite a bit of buyers for them. Problem is their way to expensive for the avg. person.

As for me . I love the F-150 with Ecoboost. I'm not even a Ford guy.

  • I'm an F-150 guy and will say that the only downside of having such a solid, beefy frame is that it's a tougher ride than the others. I mean we can criticise the new Ram with its rear coil springs but forget that the whole purpose might really be to give it a more car, and less truck like, feel. I mean where I come from, pick up trucks are rarely used like trucks at all but rather like cars on a Sunday drive. I'm not suggesting, however, to buy a Tundra, not at all.

  • @marco39576

I think if Dodge would have used the same rear suspension setup like most semi's (air), it might have gotten better results on this test - I say that because, as Titus pointed out, the engine mounts off the Dodge were better than he expected.
