Been using it since June 2009 and it is quite a good netbook. There might be better ones though, but I can safely say this one is good.

On the 3 cell it's about 3 hours

yeah i have a 6 cell on this. that lasts about 6 to 7 hours. but the 6 cell is twice the size of the 3 cell. but gives it a nice prop up position when its in. mine also has windows 7 basic. im not to fond of that i should have gotten a mini with windows xp. probably would run a little better.

Actually, yes. In fact, I plan to do that too. It's just enough for note taking, web surfing, report typing and presentations, so it's it's perfect for school.

It's not for wifi. It's for the wireless mouse they were showing off with the device. Wifi is integrated.

If you don't need the capacity, the 16GB SSD isn't a bad decision. Your performance will improve and you don't have to worry that shock (too much shaking) on the machine will damage the hard drive. So your machine should theoretically last longer too. Enjoy your mini!

It was a regional event (and it included Australia), and they told us that it should start sale on 28th May (the black one) and start selling the white and pink one on June 30th. They didn't state which country exactly though, but it shouldn't be too far from those dates.
