  • What!?!?! This is a violation of Torah! It even says right in the Torah, "You shall not marry them, you shall not give your daughter to their son and you shall not take his daughter for your son." (Deut. 7:3). And it appears the woman is Christian, these exact weddings is why we Jews are dying out in America.

  • @sweeneygeek THE LORD IS THE SAME FOR ALL PEOPLE.

IF I AM JEWISH OR CHRISTIAN breathes the same air, drink the same water and TOLERANCE IS THE RESPECT AMONG THE CHILDREN OF ONE FATHER: THE LORD

  • love it

  • חתונה בכנייסיה ? אידיוטי .

  • Wishing you a very fine, long and happy marriage, adam.

  • good luck!

PS: Let's not forget that Jesus was a Jew.

  • A Judaic -Christian wedding? Very interesting.

  • abrahimitic religions are they both. and why not marry between each other?

Jesus was a jew. So what is bad about it at all?

It is a very nice and important scene showing us that tolerance is of course possible in our religions.

  • @popigru Jesus wasn't a jew

  • @yayabo100 -.-

i suppose, you never read the bible. where jesus is born from a jewish mother, was trimmed and teaches in synagogues. i mean...this is all lie and you of course are right (huge, huge irony).

    get yourself a bitt education.

jesus was jew. and the figurine for a new, based on judaism founded religion.. the christianity.

  • @popigru If my mother was a Buddhist .. Am I supposed to be a Buddhist too ?? ha-ha! get YOURSELF a bit of education and a bit of realism man !!

  • @yayabo100 in judaism, the mother is the one who "brings" judaism into family.

  • @popigru Jesus wasn't in a typical family ! so these rules never apply on someone who's half a God !! OK ??

  • @yayabo100 get sober, kid. You write right now with a student of history and theology. Jesus, according to the bible, is not "half god, half human", he is "Both". and these rules (if mother is jewish, her chidlren are jewish) are legal and all right. what is so bad ablout being jewish, anyway? jesus is for everyone, who wants this. So where is the problem, try to be at least a little bit tolerant, like christ was.

  • @popigru but I'm a Jewish :/

  • @yayabo100 you can be what you want. christian, muslim, jewish, budhist etc. thats is not my busines. but my busines is to correct, if something is not right. so: jesus was a 10% jew. and thats complete allright and stuff. He was jewish and his followers made a new religion. Christianity has its very own roots in judaism. And that is ok, too.

  • By Jewish Law this is not allowed altogether, and the ceremony/marriage is not legit according to Jewish law.

  • @y2kabilov if it is for ultraorthodox jews. But not for jews and christians, who see the common of their both religions. and that is cool.

  • mazel tov is my favourite

  • I don't understand how you get a rabbi inside a church, aren't jews forbidden by the Torah?

  • what is this? a jewish wedding in a church? is this a joke?

  • @tetedocinho why not? jew and christ are both religions based on abraham. they belong together therefore, maybe not as one religion, but as brothers, depending on each other mainly.

And moses married not a jewish girl too, at all. so please watch that video with tolerance and joy.

  • Welcome to JewryCom - site unifying all Jewish people in the world !

  • If the one spouse couldnt marry a Jew, then the next thing we Judaism asks for is to be married under a canopy. If that is not possible, at least practice Judaism in the home (candle lighting, kosher, etc...) If not possible, at least raise the kids Jewish. If that is not possible, at least keep the Jewish spouse educated in the faith and welcome the non-Jewish spouse as well. Jewish sages warn fellow men that one should rest and fully appraise what one has, before selling it off forever.

  • Hum...ok .

  • Something strange i think , Heu...Jesus-Christ on the wall ? A Rabbin ? A Catholic ?

A Church ? It's not the same things no ? Strange....

  • @MyPopole it's not a cathlic persin. it's just a normal person marrin them

  • @Mishel88

    "normal person marrin them"

    First, learn to spell.

Second, there was a rabbi AND a priest presiding. Make this twice as good IMO.

  • God bless you :D Jesus loves you

  • @andre34343 lol they r jews ( like me) but k then wateva thx i think they give back 2 ya lol :p

  • Touching. However, the jew's grandparents turned over in their graves a couple of times. Sorry.

  • Can I ask what state in which you were married? My partner (soon to be fiance, I suspect) is not Jewish and I am. He has agreed to a Jewish wedding. We live in Australia, where rabbis won't officiate weddings between a Jew and a non-Jew, so it is likely we will go somewhere in the US. I want to get married in a Synagogue as well, though I'm not sure if that's pushing my inter-religious luck.

  • הוא האיש היהודי?

  • basura pura

  • This is an Abominationnnn!!! a Big Disaster!! FAKE! HORRIBLE VIDEO!! YOU ARE NOT JEWS!! fakers!

  • @andrescanarte They are jews and this is a real wedding. That how a jewish wedding is held! live with it! >.<

  • Comment removed

  • @andrescanarte what! I am! I was also born in Israel in Petachtiva! And yeah you do break the bottle in the wedding. Look for it on wiki! Or even on other youtube vids! >.>

  • Curious wedding!!! Mazel ToV!! God Bless U

  • Mazel Tov!

I wish I could see a Jewish Wedding in person- the only one I went to was on stage in "Fiddler on the Roof. " But I got to lift the groom up onto a chair and dance in a circle and then do the bottle dance- it was a lot of fun!

  • the ironic thing is that I would venture that the girl is not jewish...it seems like a priest is officiating this also. so those wishing ovens and other evils to jews would be impacting non jews as well...

    just gotta love the hatred.....

  • I'm missing something, was this event catered with an on-site oven?

  • Congratulations

  • @y2kabilov people like you are intolerant shits

  • @y2kabilov This is a real jewish wedding!! some are big and some are small live with it! I don't judge you with ur relig weddings do i?Btw if you are so not liking watch u r r watching y did u even click on the link? • @y2kabilov you dont belive in the jewish faith! NAZI

  • @alopez850 I'm 100% Mizrahi Jewish . Jews should marry Jews. Jews are not allowed to step into a church.

  • @alopez850 not everyone who is not jew is therefore a nazi. it is an insult that is not good at all.

  • wtf?

  • MAZEL TOV! congrats on your wedding

  • OH MY GOD how can JEwis People be in a PAGAN temple ? IM Christian but not PAGAN ; JESUS IS ALIVE and he is not an idol. THE GOD OF ISRAEL BLESS YOU.AMEN.

    A beautiful wedding!

  • thanks for being so nice about my wedding.

  • @kcaenj A wedding between such antagonists dogmas is very unusual, and Danielakleinnyc is rude I agree. But sincerely, what were you expecting by uploading it on youtube and allowing comments from all over the world ?!

  • @kcaenj Mazel Tov..

  • @danielakleinnyc someone is a NAZI

  • wtf are jewish rabin doing in Catholic curch????? that is a house of GOD!!! ,not circus for smashing glasses!!!

    ok i leave

  • in catolic church? omg!

  • i think it's a mixed

  • OMGOSH! look at the cross in the background. a jew would never allow that!!!

  • What if the glass didn't break for some reason, would it have to be repeated? and would it have bad meaning for some traditional people?

  • @undocumentedspot It would have to be repeated until the glass is broken...

and NO bad luck for the couple.

  • @zoharil ah, thanks for the info, man. it is very interesting tradition.

  • Mazel Tov! How ya gunna raise the baby?? Jewish? ::crossesfingers:: :)

  • who is more comic here , the priest or the "rabbi"?

  • The rabbi by far is more comical... he was a joke... asking people at the weddding how much they were getting paid... and giving stock advice.

  • @kcaenj that's very nice, lol. How steriotypical

  • @kcaenj well of course he was giving stock advise... XD

  • What's faster than a speeding bullet?

    A jew with a coupon.

  • Omg, why everyone so pissed, both Christians and Jews ,... Why !!! this is just what it's all about , LOVE !!! i would say, double faith, double love, ... double blessing !!! gongrats !!

  • @Borat911 Thats a beautiful response! if anyone ever asks my opinion on interfaith marriages I'm going to pretend I thought of that myself lol!

  • this marrige was forbidden according to torah

  • OY VEY....interfaith wedding...

  • got married the reform way not rite

  • Mazel Tov!

  • isso não é um casamento judaico!!

  • mazal tov

  • people who want to see the Israeli point of view in the conflict are invited to my channel and spread the message (and link to my channel) also abroad, because the danger of JIHAD is global. Thanks!

  • why is it that any time anything remotely religious is in a video, people have to start badtalking other religions and get into a big argument? just let it go people, its not like it matters.

  • LOL @ the crucifix

  • thats my aunty

  • WAIIIIIIIT A MINUTE... if this is a jewish wedding why are they in a church... and not in a shul?

  • May I ask, what does the breaking of the glass symbolise? ^^

  • it means good luck congraulations many happiness in the future to come

  • There is no telling what it means to this highly assimilated groom, but the breaking of the glass is a memorial to the destruction of the Temple by the Romans in 70 AD. Even at the height of one's joy, the soul of the Jew remembers.

When a Jew builds a house, there is always something left unfinished. Why? Because his generation has not rebuilt the Temple.

Did I mention that the Temple was destroyed by Romans? Sometimes the Romans destroy through conquest, sometimes through assimilation.

  • wahhhhhhhhh

  • Jesous will forgive you my son for swearing at him. Go in peace and find your balance :)

  • Even if you are not Christian you should still accept other religions!

  • athiest and i love the cultural aspects of all religions :)

  • @hukby fuck ur self dick

  • @kcaenj

looks like u used a very bad translator to translate to hebrew

anyway i admire the fact u made a jewish wedding after all u live out there far from the jewish religion

  • Hmm, in a church, looking at the comments, this is a messanic wedding? Or a mixed wedding, presided by a priest and a rabbi, which i think is a good idea in inter religious freindship. My parents are of mixed marriage, so they got married in register office (UK) much easier, although me and my bro were brought up Jewish.... tradition has to allow somehow otherwise we loose our fellow Jews!

  • By the way,

excuses for my bad English. I'm not a native speaker :-)

  • Your English is very good. Your ideas are ignorant and ludicrous. Peace to you!

  • I wish this couple all the happiness in the world, the only question is how will the children be raised?

  • wow, is one of you guys Christian?

  • wtf?

  • and here must be a mixed weeding

  • There are Jews who believe in Jesus: it is simply the messianic Jews but they are not so much...

  • 8/10 Messianic Jews are actually gentiles... Some even get pizza delivered to a Simchat Torah service. With that it becomes clear, Messianic Jews are not really Jews.

  • The way "messianic" Jews do our mitswot is totyally irrelevant to their Jewish status.

If they're born from a Jewish mother, they're Jews. Easy as that. It brings the duty to us as Jews to bring them to the back from their ridicoulous "Trinity-idea"

  • Messianic Jews simply recognishe Yeshua as the messiah come as according to the Law and the Prophets.

google search "messianic prophecies fulfilled by Jesus"

Interesting for you. Seek truth not tradition.

    Shalom.

  • its not a 100 procent avoda zara..but its 100 procent not jewish ! im srry but this is not a jewish marriage , where is the hupa ? the kipa ? the bet kneset?? if we orthodox jews see this video..we think its avoda zara..

  • what is thisssssssssssssssssssssssss

  • Interfaith marriages are a fact of life. I wish the couple happiness and prosperity. As far as performing Jewish rites and customs in a Christian Curch with a huge crucifix ... well that I personally unseemly and cloying ... but it's my NOT my wedding ...

  • At least the kids will be jewish

  • No no scarface lol FUCK you! :) LOL

  • Shut the HELL up! I know I'm a Catholic but if I ever hear anyone discriminating Jews, then I get very MAD!!

  • @shmotownlola06 Me too

  • Nice that your sister evidently stopped blowing you long enough so that you could focus your pathetic little brain on your posting.

  • Funny how the most pathetic among us -- meaning you, you miserable little man -- feel a need to claim superiority over others by attempting to demean their religion, race, etc. Next time you're at home, spankin' it with yet another of your nights of one-handed Web surfing, you might want to reconsider that whole "master race" concept, since it clearly ain't workin' for ya.

  • Marriage is Marriage...doesnt matter where.

    or what faith..

  • why is the rabbi marrying them in a church if they are jewish.

    must be a mixed marriage.

  • Yes interfaith marriage... the main ceremony was catholic.

  • well my brother is cathicolic married jewish wife. No matter what. becuase they are in love very veyr veyr much. they are happy. Not perfect. I love to hear break glass at jewish wedding!!

  • An interfaith wedding ceremony???

  • I'm confused. This seems to be a Catholic church. I thought Jews didn't believe in Jesus. I'm full of doubts

  • we dont belive in jesus, i think the people in the video are reformist or something like that because we, the jews marriage in a sinagoge, in a huppa.

  • Isin't it Avodah Zara for jews to go into a church?

  • good question I'll talk with my rabbi about this issues. it seem not right for jews go into a church.

  • They must be Messianic Jews or something.

  • its no right at all! an it is avodah zara!

  • Comment removed

  • Don't listen to them, it's not Avodah Zara. You're permitted for visits, just not on Shabbos.

  • thats awsome!

blessings and peace with you and your marriage

  • wow that was original doble faith

  • Boda mixta es broma!!! Boda catolica o acaso judía???
